Portsmouth's Dave Robertson, aka Reset Robot, has always been a masterful self-confessed studio nerd and obsessive sound designer with a fiercely underground approach. He is a DJ, producer, and live artist who has landed on labels like Anjunadeep, Truesoul, and Hotflush with a brooding, melancholic yet rich sound that pairs emotional and physical power. The fantastic 'Meltwater' opens at an inviting pace with watery synth droplets and slinky drums sweeping you up into a lush world of synth-led sound. Subtle, optimistic melodies douse you in good vibes while well-swung garage-house drums are sure to get your heart pumping. 'Dreamland' is another blissful soundscape, with deep drums providing compelling forward motion, while shimmering melodies, celestial harmonies, and angelic vocals all glow warm and bright. The multi-layered melodies truly make your brain tingle. Last but not least is the more heads-down and locked-in 'Kicks', a moodier, darker atmosphere with rumbling synths and screwy stabs hinting at late-night menace while still exuding the deft production abilities that make Reset Robot such a unique producer.

Marcus Meinhardt’s track “Hibiskuss” brings pulsating and warm tropical layers together, seducing its listener into total indulgence. The tribal percussions set the tone, shaking and grooving throughout the track and thus providing a framework for the beautiful melody. Having a light melancholic touch to it, which is underlined by the vocal elements, there is still a positive vibe radiating off the track. Through the build up it feels like you are taken on a journey following new, enchanting soundscapes, culminating in a twirl of bliss in the break. Exclusive Coeus 'Forgotten Love'

Carefully saved within biological circuits that are activated by networks of nerve cells humans gain access to their memory, and therewith to their past, to their knowledge, to colored images of close people, to their lives. Serbian producer Coeus actived his memory of a 'Forgotten Love' for the first release of shortly founded Parisian label Mimesis. The three tracker, consisting of the EP's name giving track 'Forgotten Love', 'Atlantis' and 'Gravity', depicts hidden feelings in space at a musical level. 'Forgotten Love' overwhelms its listeners with a dark fundamental tone that's not taking the track's lead but is certainly responsible for the undertone. The latter is worked out by the synth-chords that deliver a memorable melody that can easily be recalled as its saved within short time in the back of our heads, in our memory, so it is not forgotten but present.

Coeus' EP 'Forgotten Love' will be released February 19th, 2019 on Mimesis.
