Trial and Error is the 17th release on Frankey & Sandrino's Sum Over Histories: a 2 track EP from Scatcity label head Skatman which cements his reputation as one of the most progressive artists in house and a firm favourite amongst Sum Over Histories ever-growing roster. 

The trajectory of 'Plexiglas' follows his signature production style, beginning with minimal elements, adding complex layers to a chaotic crescendo, and stripping it all back to end the track as minimalist as it began. The intensity goes up a notch in this 2nd track of the EP, with increased BPM, brisk hi-hats and mesmeric keys. Skatman adds industrial soundscapes alongside upbeat keys and pounding percussion, making it the perfect track to play on a hot afternoon at a festival, on some secret stage hidden in the woods.

Harmoniese is an atmospheric nuclear warhead with layers of darkness and light clashing euphoniously. Antagonistic vocals meet tribal and electronic elements, forming an almost cineastic journey.
Dario Dea emphasizes the yin-yang spirit of the tune even more by embracing a synth-driven retro-esque world. 
Raphael Mader then turns the focus on portraying an uplifting, airy, and introspective view.
Tube & Berger’s spin on Mader’s interpretation leads to the grand finale of the voyage, by introducing Goatchy as the leading voice of this dramatic spectacle of sounds.

What a start it has been to the new year. The stars are aligning and we are ready to spread positive vibes all over the world with music. And what better way to start a new year than with a new face? That is why we are more than excited to welcome Eric Rose to the Heinz Music family. Based in Kyiv, Eric has made a name for himself with his exquisite DJ sets and genre bending productions. Now he is ready for his Heinz Music debut with "Collar EP".

"Collar" is a playful tune with an earnest undertone. Heavy synths deliver an intense vibe, broken up by a beautiful vocal in the break before Eric launches the listener into a dreamlike melodic journey. "Eclipse" is a mesmerizing composition of groovy percussions and sharp synths swirling towards the break where melancholic strings work as a prelude to the percussive drop.

Last but not least, "Lost Warrior" ends the EP with a powerful attitude, packed to the brim with fierceness. Again the interplay between synths and strings deliver a magnificent atmosphere. Tight percussions and a driving bassline lead the way as we reminisce about dark dance floors and sweaty basements. Enjoy our new Heinz Music!
