An Excerpt from my project 11.11.11. developed during 2011.

This record originally consisted of 11 tracks with a locked groove at the end of each track. Only 11 copies of the record were cut in total. They were made to be used in a performance that happened on November 11, 2011, which consisted of 11 turntables playing the 11 records simultaneously at 11:11 PM. The project originated from a residency in Berlin organized and produced by L'Ull Cec. The production of the records and the event were also organized and produced by L'Ull Cec along with the record labels Fauni Gena and Canada from Barcelona. 

The recording was done between April and August 2011. Danny O' Really mastered the record in October of 2011 in Amsterdam. 

The artwork was done over a year later and consisted of putting together a matrix with letterpress lead type fonts. Each time a cover was printed I would re-distribute again to print the next one. This process was assisted by Diego Bustamante and Ferran Fandos.

As part of the Seminar 'La Matèria com a Forma'. A Project by Ariadna Parreu, Pau Magrané asked a group of local artists to contribute short pieces using a "Sample Pack" that he supplied, in connection with the subject of the seminar (Matter as Shape). This is my contribution — 22 Samples in 99 Seconds. The title is obviously descriptive :-)

The piece was presented at Materfad in Barcelona (http://es.materfad.com/)— on the 1st of December 2016 alongside the work of all the other artists involved.

The sounds here are part of three infinite self-generating sequences composed of 11 sound sources — sound waves + sound samples
All filters, envelopes and effects are set with their parameters to multiples of eleven values. The result is this really annoying, monotonous but subtly ever-changing sequence.

These sounds have been housed in 22 3 minute infinite tape loop cassettes.
Each cassette has been recorded directly from the source so every single one is different from the rest, since each one captures only three minutes of an infinite self-generating sequence. You can hear a short excerpt below. Please note: While listening through laptop speakers, panning events will be missed.
