@montyluke's ‘Nightdubbing (Part 2)’ lands on Rekids this February.

Kicking oﬀ Rekids’ January, Monty Luke’s ‘Nightdubbing (Part 1)’ won the support of Josh Wink, Laurent Garnier, Fred P and many more. Radio Slave’s esteemed label now readies itself for part two, starting with ‘Supernova’, a slow-burning groover shot through with whirly synths and deep space textures, broken up by retro vocal samples. ‘Starstorms’ continues to explore the deepest reaches of the unknown, picking up pace via shaker rhythms, driving bass, and raw foot-on-the-pedal pads.

Up next is Monty Luke’s ‘New World / Old Future’, in which scratch-like drums, dubbed-out hits and a rolling rhythm are all in perfect order before the psychedelic ‘Avantgarde Dancehall’ introduces wonky liquid sonics and intricate melodies over a steady beat. Closing this eclectic oﬀering, ‘Travelling ‘Round The Sun’ features drums rooted in dub alongside spoken word poetry, rounding oﬀ a release that is storytelling at its very best.

Monty Luke spent ten formative years in Detroit, where the city's unique musical spirit inﬂuenced him immensely. He has since distilled this experience into the music he has put out on labels like Rekids, Planet-E, Hypercolour, and his own Black Catalogue. His raw, dub-infused sound comes with plenty of futuristic designs, with this second part of ‘Nightdubbing’ continuing to push the boundaries of his music.

The Neighborhood 12th episode features a guest mix from Victoria Rawlins! - Rising from the seedy underbelly of Los Angeles, Victoria Rawlins connects to the heart of underground dance music with warehouse-inspired energy focused on celebrating worldwide club culture. She cut her teeth spinning records in some of Hollywood’s darkest punk rock dive bars, but it was her affinity for firey disco edits, indie dance sounds, and forward-thinking house beats that brought her to bigger dancefloors. Soon, she established several local residencies where she earned her reputation as a tastemaking selector with the skills to move a crowd. Victoria’s trailblazing style caught the attention of dance music heavy-hitter Claude VonStroke who personally entrusted her to take over hosting duties of the long-running flagship radio show for Dirtybird records. With broadcasts on SiriusXM and hundreds of radio syndicates around the world, she now plays her favorite new tracks and introduces a wide variety of talents in electronic music to millions of listeners every week. When Victoria is not behind the decks or hosting the radio show, she’s in the studio working on original productions, remixes and edits. Good Neighbor presents: The Neighborhood 12 feat Victoria Rawlins

In recent years, Dzc. has emerged as a highly sought-after DJ, leaving her mark in Austria with performances at numerous venues.
As a key member of the Acid Lambada crew, she has been featured in well-established curated festivals and events, both locally and internationally.

Her productions mirror her passion for synth-driven dance music, characterized by dreamy pads and playful melodies.

No stranger to Fortunea Records, having already been featured in two editions of the Fortunea Cookies VA-Series, she is set to present her first 4-track EP in February.

The 'Conversations with Birds' EP is a meticulously balanced collection of tracks designed for each phase of a club night.

Drawing inspiration from elements of 90s House and progressive sounds, 'Visual Mind' and 'In Sight' are dreamlike journeys with lively synth melodies, joyful basslines, and captivating pads and textures. The latter has also been reworked by Fortunea regular Peletronic, infusing crisp minimalistic rhythms into his 'Blurred Vision' Mix.

The standout piece of the EP is the title track on the B-side, a beautiful composition that elicits uplifting moments and feelings of euphoria. It features emotive chords, airy strings, and soothing sustained tones that enhance the powerful groove.

The record promises to immerse listeners in an engaging journey that captures Dzc.'s distinctive vision.

'Conversations with Birds' will be digitally released on February 22, followed shortly by a limited vinyl edition.
