The first original song Cleveland P. Jones and I released back in 2011. We took a break from another song and while on that break, I came up with a melody (the hook) that I looped and played back for Cleveland, asking him if it inspired any ideas with him. He listened, hummed a bit, kept repeating the word "Sensitive", started writing, and 20 minutes later--viola! As for me, it took me the rest of the week to orchestrate the rest of what you heard (yes, I composed and played ALL the music you hear).

Later that year, Gilles Peterson would come across it, played it two weeks in a row, and later we get an email to have it licensed for his Brownswood Bubblers 7 compilation. 2011 introduced the larger world to a great talent in Mr. Jones, and what is probably my most consistent and best collaborator, who also is like my brother from another mother :) Proud of this dude and all that he's accomplished and still going to--honored to be a part of his musical journey.
