Probably my favourite 'hidden' album from DOOM, and it honestly is up there for me in terms of all time favourite DOOM album full stop. I saw a comment once where someone was like 'Viktor Vaughn is like DOOM for the underground hip hop heads' and I think that's pretty spot on. Beats for Viktor are always so grimey and the style and attitude of the character is just straight up rugged, always fun to listen to.

This is actually one of the less grimey tracks on the first Viktor Vaughn album, more laid back and focuses on telling a story, pretty bugged out one too. Always stood out to me cause of Apani B's feature, and the way the track ends is pretty nuts, defo shows how over the top Vik was meant to be as a character. If you haven't heard the Viktor Vaughn albums defo check them asap, loads of varied tracks across them both there's defo something for everyone. 

I went for more of a high energy with this remix, quite a bit faster than the OG and I wanted to give the drums a lot of energy, thought it fit the hectic nature of this track the way it goes back and forth between Vik and Nicki, and how the story gets progressively crazier and they eventually fall apart. I always thought this was a pretty unique take on a 'romance' song if you can call it that haha. Also was a pretty weird one to remix I had to chop the acapella up quite a bit to get the timing right with my beat, I think the OG might be a different time signature or something.
