Embrace the unknown and step into the void of the 'UZUMAKI.' Inspired by the works of Juni Ito, Munchkin Kat melded a heavy hypnotic bass track that moves forward and backwards between the tendrils of time. This track will leave the listeners obsessed by the never ending spiral, because once you feel it’s at its end, you’re pulled back in.

This track was built from a series of experiments. The kick came from recreating the Big Room like boom, while dialing back to keep the track more aligned to Bass Music. The bass itself was derived from ideas in trying to use the envelope follower to add more sounds at very specific parts of the notes. The tape stop is a misdirect to the direction of the track while still maintaining flow. I am a big fan of Juni Ito and dark horror and fantasy, so while developing this track I felt like I was spinning, or spiraling, hence the direct inspiration of his manga and the dark and driving emotion the song conveys.
