Introducing ‘Cool & Deadly’, the second single taken from Bristol based producer KREED’s forthcoming album project ‘A Brief History’, landing September this year.
 
Following the release of the first single ‘Freedom of Speech’ ft. Prynce Mini in May, this second drop from the album shows KREED teaming up with one of the most celebrated sound system music artists in the UK, Solo Banton. A true favourite of the international Reggae/Dancehall scene, Solo is known and loved for his vintage deejay style, intelligent (often comical) content, and energy filled live performances. 

The pair have linked up to bring us ‘Cool & Deadly’, a sonically rich and bass-heavy track that is primed for the club sound systems. Lyrically, Solo takes us on a journey through the dancehall, whilst emphasising the importance of allowing people enjoy themselves free of judgment and aggravation. This is backed by an intricate instrumental by KREED, packed full of low bass weight energy, heavy drums and ‘Wild West’ references.

‘A Brief History’ LP is due for full release on 30th September and will be available across all major digital/streaming platforms, also accompanied by a physical release of 12” heavyweight 180g vinyl.

For BS008, we called upon Ago from Italy's Numa Crew to deliver a sound system sheller. Fish brings his signature tribal bass sound in for the bass heads. Kreed's 'Silky Way' remix is 140 bubbler whilst Gella brings the grit for the Jungle / D&B crew. Altogether a well rounded remix taking the original to new heights.

Chatterbox was picked up by our man Gardna whilst Samson Sounds performed it with MC Tom Spirals at Scotland’s renowned Eden Festival. It was quickly signed, sealed and is now delivered just for you.
