Tropical Animals es una joven etiqueta que va por su onceava referencia. Esta vez viene firmada por el productor de Italia Andrea Comparin mejor conocido en el entorno musical como Munstac. Su nuevo nuevo trabajo Glicine EP consta de 5 originales y dos remixes a cargo del señor Mammarella y Acidgigi, el cual estrena DJ MAG ES.

Tropical Animals Records returns after Nick Anthony Simoncino's latest release, with a new Italian upcomer. Andrea Comparin aka Munstac signs the most experimental ep of the entire catalog of the label. His work entitled Glicine opens with "Intro" a track with an Organic breath that intertwines with an electronic texture made of elements that color the whole song, "Laghetto Italia 61" is a dry and broken loop, with a groove that keeps you glued over time.
The Ep continues with “Distante 900,000 km”, a true and proper ballad of the future, profound and hypnotic. "Intro Glicine" is an interesting starting point for "Glicine" the song that gives its name to the entire ep. Incredibly sweet and heavenly, it directly reaches your heart. The pads and harmonies chase each other like two lovers, in an intricate and impervious rhythmic labyrinth at the beat of nature.
To close this incredible ep we have 2 remixes, one by the young Milanese ACIDGIGI that evokes the ethereal sounds of wisteria with powerful rhythmic parts and violent acid baseline. The other by the well-known Fabrizio Mammarella, who takes us 900,000km away into a futuristic world, where he expertly mixes all the sounds creating a solid and perfect remix for the dancefloor and beyond.

QS & NT: We Are Que Sakamoto And NT(Noriyuki Takagi) from Japan.


HRDF: How did you discover this track ? 
QS: Original artist is Hoodoo Fushimi From Japan. I'm a big fan of Mr.Fushimi.

HRDF: Why do you choose to edit it ? 
QS: I was thinking about reworking one of his masterpiece for a while. So, I contacted him and asked if he were ok. I was surprised and honored that he said yes. It's a really special edit for us, master japanese funk vibe!  

HRDF: What are your next plans? 
QS: Working On Music For Hard Fist and SC&P, and more music release for 2022. I'm really exciting about focusing more on music. And I start touring in USA and South America soon.

2011: Ritorno dal nostro primo concerto all’estero.

Dopo aver viaggiato per una ventina di giorni e aver visto le cose più assurde della nostra vita, una notte di quell’estate, abbiamo deciso di montare un set-Up nella vecchia discoteca abbandonata della famiglia di Jonny.

Mi pare si chiamasse cinema Odeon(Nanto)... una cosa giù di lì.

Era un posto enorme, com’era tipico negli anni 70, con ancora impianto e luci funzionanti.

Il set-Up era composto da: Roland TD-3, Korg kp3, due Mac - dei quali uno faceva da sequencer, rototom, mixer Makie vlz16, e un’altra drum machine che ora non ricordo.

La mia tastiera aveva gli effetti per chitarra che mi aveva prestato un mio amico e in ultima un pro-one distrutto, lo usavo come arpeggiatore.

Da lì, ispirati, abbiamo messo le basi per i prossimi 4 Ep.

Il progetto era Deeohdee e il concerto dal quale tornavamo era l’Exit Festival 2011 - Novisad, Serbia.
