Scatterstreet was the first track that i wrote after coming out of a tough stage in my life, it was after a lot of self reflection and hard work and a bit of therapy and leaving a toxic relationship. A bunch of stuff really. The lyrics are as follows:

You probably just thinking this is some battle rap but matter of fact its personal attack, personal being the freeing of my being, the multi layered intricacies of my team. It seems to me my eyes been un-seeing, the revelation of this is somewhat freeing, denial of this fact is a personal theme. The facts are where it's at they deserve to be seen.

I couldn't let the madness vanish without a trace, it's part of me now and it all has its place, a wild inner child with impeccable taste, hardened exterior anything I can face. Think my heart just stopped, squirming in my body for the bass to drop, doing what i can to just harvest my crop. Real from the terms of just taking the knocks, real as you get I gotta give myself props. Give a couple years you can call me the doctor with the pots i stir, got alot to share, never ever really need to feel inferior, fleeing from my shadows cause they way scarier, turn around attack like a threatened terrier. I find the situation just a little hairier. My shadow and myself share the same interior.

MxDs - Scatterstreet

Gone was a track a wrote a few years ago when i was really struggling with my fathers suicide and caring for my grandmother. I was in a very dark place and a bit in love with the thought of my own death but could never kill myself for obvious reasons. I felt that i was often on the edge of sanity and found myself self medicating quite a bit to sooth the pain. The lyrics are as follows:

I try to retain my ill forgotten game, bottom of the bucket fuck it, bring the pain. I'm pushing through the strain while I'm tryna gain a name and id do it all again if i thought it would make a change. Change aint that's what its all about? not a person on this planet that can live their life without. Shout, it's how I get it all out. The pain feels like fire when its pouring out your mouth.

Insane, deranged, call it what you will part of the art of fact is that it's actually quite a thrill, still you never really know what's real and half the hardships just dealing with how you feel, dealing with how you kill and stealing some more of those pills, insanity is grasping me it's starting to make me ill, humanity is damning me they say I'm over the hill but they can say what they want because ill never be run of the mill

So to speak I'm uniquely tweaked, hard as the hardest street concrete, harder still cause i know defeat, charge right through with broken feet, in charge of the barge with the broken teeth, its hardly an art to eat the weak, time to embark and be set free, yes you know its testing me, the best mc living recklessly, its hectically infecting me, crawling out the wreckage see id rather let the record speak, yes you know its truth we seek, its ruthlessly accusing me, accusing you, accusing us, riding on our broken trust, sliding on our open lust, resilience is crushed, its brilliance is filling us, we loving this experience, kind of like a mental dance just twice as fast and quite enhance. Cup my head inside my hands, let my evil plans expand.

Once upon a time is quite a special track, the beat is taken from an old project ZsZ and was produced by Stuart Vermaak AKA Hiyarant. i like this one its mean, strong and a bit sad but self reflection can be like that, its fine if you choose to grow from it.

Angels lips was a song that i was working on years ago, it was never finished properly so i few months ago i was digging though old music and decided to finish it, the first verse was written shortly after i came back to South Africa following my fathers suicide to care for my gran, it was hard times but soul expanding. The second verse was written before i left South Africa after my gran passed. I though i needed to finish the song to complete a circle.
