Spring is a season defined by hope, we’re emerging from a long winter spent indoors to the promise of this brighter season. It’s the promise of returning to warm nights spent dancing in starlight, and of embracing new and old friends after too many months spent apart, sheltering from the dark and cold.

But now the days are longer, and the city suddenly feels alive, humming away once again.

This spring, we’ve brought together new stories from talented musicians around the world for the third instalment of our Seasons series.

Each producer crafts a unique musical tapestry, often using thumping drums, beautiful synthetic melodies, and haunting vocal samples to capture the pure jubilation of spring and excitement for what lies ahead.

Mix #37 is here and for this edition we are delighted to welcome an artist who is sure to have an exciting future ahead...the multi talented...Selin Asar! 

Selin is a Turkish born, London based singer/songwriter and DJ.
After professionally training as an opera singer, she found her passion for electronic music when entering the DJ world. Her entrance is followed by her debut single released last November. Selin describes her music as lo-fi/chill-hop with an oriental twist.
As a DJ, she loves harmonising Organic / Ethno Progressive House and Deep Melodic Techno vibes. Her skills in creating vocal harmonies, looping and atmospheric singing, all in a live setting, work together with her skills as an electronic music DJ to create an ascending emotive mystical experience.

Our next chapter is steered by Nasser Alazzawi. Hailing from the riverside of Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., Nasser moved to Limassol, Cyprus. Taking stock of the island’s mood, he produced this podcast by the pool with music that tells a story of an awakening into hope, delving into uncertainty before remembering that, no matter what happens, everything is fine if we let it be. 

He says that, whilst made with love, this was one of his more challenging podcasts to bring forward - he does not get to express himself like this so often at real events. The result is a wave of emotion arriving on an open, friendly and familiar groovy note where hip wiggling is completely acceptable!
