Musical expression has been a journey of development for Takt. From
groovy and playful to up-tempo with tribal influences, high quality
productions have always been her main focus. Besides having released on
Autonome, Syxt and Akronym she has played at clubs like Melkweg in
Amsterdam and About:Blank in Berlin. Her passion for techno has made her
an appreciated DJ in her home town of Oslo as well where she has been a
part of numerous concepts and collectives.

About MIAOMIX set: I was just having fun & excited to be in the studio of Miao music in CPH! 🖤 Playing my fave tunes at the moment by artists like Alberto Tolo, Ketch, Volster, TWR72 and Havik whose tracks I always love. Also some new tracks by myself. hope u like it!

Our 4th iteration of ALLURECAST is conjured by BSTKPT_SCRT, a London born / Melbourne (Naarm) based Musician, Composer, Curator, Radio Presenter [VISCERAL RADIO], Promoter & Music Culture enthusiast with almost 20 years of skin in the game, offering two hours of power sifting through new and old hypnotic bangers.

BKS grew up in a very musical household. Owing a lot of his musical ability and early influences to his Father who is a talented Jazz and Rock guitarist and was a music collector. Having access to an eclectic record collection from an early age, really helped create an escape to a parallel Universe, where he still resides today. Growing up in 90s London, the Dance Music scene was at its peak. It has been described similarly to a religious movement. Radio 1's Essential Mix was the Holy Grail (where he went on to have several of his productions featured) and dark sweaty nightclubs were like Church.

BKS’s performance versatility that has not only allowed him to play for some of the world's most respected institutions but go on to book, support, and tour with many world class artists including: Stephan Bodzin, Timo Maas, Deadmau5, Fatboy Slim, Armand Van Helden and BK to name a few.

So once you have listened to this marathon of a mix, we implore you to ask yourselves ~ have you been allured?

On BAS008 we welcome Voiski and his uplifting take on techno. Cascading snares, dreamy melodies and a good dose of cosmically charged sounds make „Our Brilliant Failure“ a beautifully crafted ode to hope. The motive comes in many facets: starting off with „Sit Down Next To Me“ and it’s tightly knit melody, retrospective amalgamates with futurism. Then we dive into the roaring cave of „Chasing Shadows“, where the bass is deep and the synths cheeky. „TearSystem“ stays true to its name: rave romanticism in its crystallized form. Fading out on „Your Heart Starts To Race“ Voiski closes on a distant note, nevertheless attuned with the cosmic groove.

DJ and techno enthusiast alike,M.A.M hails from mullingar county westmeath. 

He had an upbringing in a very musically influenced home and his love and passion for music stems back to early childhood.

Having spent many years playing at clubs and venues such as The Stables in Mullingar,The Cellar Galway and Cyprus Avenue in Cork to name a few. He has had the privilege of playing with some top Irish artists such as Myler,Jamie Behan,Jon Hussey,Doug Cooney,Casper Hastings,Cailin,Derek Carr and Maedbh O'Connor.

He has also had the pleasure of warming up international artists such as Blawan,Rebekah,Mike Dehnert and Esther Duijn.

Holding residency at Basement Project and djing at festivals around Ireland like Life Festival,Lunasa,Elysian Circus,Scrobarnach,La Tech,Puzzle and Fuinneamh.
