My remix of Ireland's Eurovision 2024 entry...

Look I know Eurovision was a shitshow this year and I feel pretty conflicted being involved even in a totally unofficial capacity, but the RemixEverything project is very much in the spirit of what Eurovision is _supposed_ to be. This year we're raising money for The Whitechapel Centre, the leading homeless and housing charity for the Liverpool region. Liverpool was the host city of last year's Eurovision final and The Whitechapel Centre has directly helped one of the regular contributors to RemixEverything so it feels pretty appropriate. 

There was some behind the scenes discussion about whether we should even do a Eurovision album this year once it was announced that Israel would be competing but we decided to go ahead. Had we known how it would all play out I suspect we would have decided differently, but by the time it came to the finals the tunes were already finished and released.

Bambie Thug was and continues to be one of the most outspoken artists involved in the competition advocating for peace and calling out the bullying tactics of the Israeli delegation. And jeeeez what a fucking performance. I know a lot of ppl think artists should have boycotted the competition entirely, I remain undecided about that tbh but I'm happy that the world got to see Bambie's iconic performance of this incredible song. And I'm pretty pleased with this remix too x
