September, 16th, 3:54. An armored electromobile was spotted on the eastern border of the World Metropolis. This type transport can only leave the Metropolis via a specialized highway on the southern border, so the electromobile was searched. After warning about the start of scanning, we encountered armed resistance: four unknown persons in masks made of iron sheets opened fire on the cameras and scanners of the post, then attacked the security unit.

There were more of us than the bandits probably thought. Within half an hour, we neutralized two repeat offenders, we took two into custody and interrogated them. I will send a full estimate of the interrogation within 24 hours.

Preliminary: 4 unknown persons are smugglers transporting implants prohibited in the Metropolis. We are talking about the category of neurostimulator implants and implants with deatomizers. At this point, all contraband products have been confiscated and sent for processing to the implant engineering enterprise №64. That's all for now, until next time.

The murder of one of the regional governors raised the ears of all law enforcement agencies of the World Metropolis. Now, relying on the testimony of witnesses, cyborg inspectors were looking for a mutant: one of the monsters generated by regular overdoses of steroids.

Having discovered ten suspects among the mutants' files reviewed, the inspector received information about their location in a couple of seconds. Within five minutes, a squads of police androids were sent for each of them.

The government of the World Metropolis has not yet begun to attach importance to the abilities of mutants, especially to their inclination to various metamorphoses. It was the mutants’ conscious refusal of a permanent physical shell that made them almost invulnerable, and some amateur scientists sometimes called mutants “superhumans” and “a new stage of evolution.” Sometimes brave souls paid a high price for such thoughts.

The cold light of the spotlights outlined the contours of the Arena. The metal floor, covered with layers of dried blood, silvered predatorily, casting glare on hundreds of rows of spectators. The duel will begin any minute. On the right side is a cyborg-supersoldier, a veteran of intergalactic military operations, Ryan Eno. The hero, convicted for refusing to accept the ideology of the new government, was doomed to fight one of the most bloodthirsty mutants, another product of underground government experiments aimed at creating new biological weapons.

The titanium door of the Arena's left entrance clanged upward - the monster, captive to the gravitational field, was thirsty for blood. The eight-legged insectoid, reminiscent of an ant and clad in a black chitinous shell, was drooling poisonous saliva, anticipating a brutal fight. Eno activated each of his implanted plasma cannons, launched his neural armor, and unsheathed his deatomizer sword. In a few seconds, the mutant and the soldier would clash in front of thousands of rapt spectators of the World Metropolis.
