He took many victims. From all over.

And they were very sad because they had families

Narrator: The town started an ad campaign against him and it went a little like this.
My name is the mayor 
and Parakeet Steve is a bitch fucking asshole we hate him 
As a town we will hunt him till he's dead.

Parakeet Steve: Huh?
Guy (maybe the president): What a sweet little parakeet, I’m, I’m so glad to see you little guy!
Parakeet Steve: Hmm, nobody’s ever been this kind to me. Must be a kind man. Damn.

Now, Parakeet Steve grapples with his life choices! Will he choose to be a serial killer again?

I’ll fucking do it again!

Parakeet Steve: No, no, I mustn’t kill. I shan’t! Oh, oh heavens. 

As the man was speaking kindly
Steve felt a warmness in his heart
The man was suddenly in harm’s way
And Steve jumped to save him!

As Steve stepped in front of the kind man, he put himself in harm’s way, and subsequently fell to the ground, dead. The townspeople gathered.

(Is that that serial killer parakeet?)
Stop, stop! My name is The Mayor, and I declare that that parakeet saved the president’s life. 
(What?)
We have to sing for him and put him in the Hall of Fame!
(Okay!)

Your soul is in the heavens, where you belong

In my Special Hall of Fame!
