Delian Sound Guestmix for No Harm Sub FM 27/05/2021

Having shut down the first Murky Lock-In down in Bournemouth last December, Delian Sound returns to the brand with a heavyweight mix full of twisted breaks and deep basses. The Cambridge-based producer is one of the best up-and-comers in the UK breaks scene and is definitely one to keep your eye on.

After her banging set at our open decks collab with @offtherecord006, we’re pleased to say Overneath [@proto_squid__] will be making her Murky Mix debut 💥 with a mix she described as ‘mostly leftfield nonsense’… so right up our street then!

London-born, Cambridge-based, Connie aka Overneath is a DJ, producer and scientist who specialises in wonky dubstep, experimental polyrhythms, and generally leftfield dance music. Defo one for the heads! 👩‍🔬

For our next mix we’ve got another serious selector who stepped up at our Open Decks with @offtherecord006 - Haycheph ‼️

The Luxembourg-raised DJ has exploded onto the Cambridge scene in the past year with a number of sets at Slipped Disc, ArcSoc, Spotlite, The Thing + more 💥

Originally finding his musical passion making trap and hip-hop beats, the DJ has now moved into the realms of hardgroove, hard hosue, with sprinklings of UKG and dubstep creating mixes full of energy and rawness. This mix is no different and one to get those hips shaking on a Monday evening! 🕺

The sun’s (sort of) out so we thought we’d treat you all to something different 🌞

Stepping up for his Murky debut is our good friend Mushota aka Rune, a key member of Bath-based events brand Stafford Sounds. Mush has spent the past year curring his teeth in Bath’s flourishing scene, supporting the likes of Dr Dubplate and Prospa, playing with the Origins, Bath House, and Stafford Sounds crews. 🛀

Whilst Rune’s sets usually merge garage, breaks and techno, the up-and-coming artist has recently started dipping his toes into house, as this mix exemplifies. His Murky mix showcases his love of deep and rare cuts, being filled to the brim with late 90s and early 2000s house and techno from the likes of Yoshitoshi and Defected, as well as a sprinkling of modern tech house, and of course a cheeky garnish of UKG. 🕺

It’s a journey of a mix that ebbs and flows - the perfect mix to slap on a sit back to with a cold brew, soundtrack your drive to a festival, or kick off your pres! 🍻

Silkie & Quest took control of at the GetDarker Stage, Arena 1 at Outlook 2012 and caused a serious eruption, with the arena full to capacity, offering only a one-in-one-out policy, resulting in incomparable vibes and without question, a night to remember...for us all.
