Born Liam Kelly, in Elgin, Morayshire in Scotland in 1973, music is the heartbeat to a life less ordinary.

My parents bought me my first instrument, a banjo, at the age of 9, which I tried to get my head (and arms) around for a few years, but to no avail.  I also had that truly splendid opportunity of being lent a violin from school at the same time - I think my mum gave it back to school within days! At 13 I bought my first keyboard, and then later at 17 an electric guitar - a Fender Telecast in metallic red.

Nothing really happened for many years, but then in 1998 I bumped into an old college friend in London Victoria station on the way to work, several pints ensued and I joined his band Vermont a week later as a bassist, even though I had never even played one before. I was with them for over 3 years, toured, released 3 EPs and an album and did the usual London circuits too... My final gig was on November 22nd at the Camden Underworld - I was shit! I hadn't been practicing and my heart was no longer in it to be honest. 

Soon after I left/was booted out, and well now I focus on my artwork and photography and try to combine this with the odd creation on my Apple Mac... thus I hope you enjoy... Cheers
