Album Notes.
Our debut album is based on the feeling of love.
It represents different aspects of it from an abstract point of view:
alling in love, love morphing, stress, joy and the overall mystery of this beautiful feeling.
As the album goes, we tried to represent the entire spectrum of emotions a person can get in this state,
different memories and pictures are captured into their heads.
Sometimes this endorphin rumble can simply turn to silence.
Or turn into something new, from one level to simply fading away.
But will it disappear? Certain pulses of it will still remain.
After that, everything is pretty abstract…

違った視点を持ち合わせた者同士が恋愛の関係に踏み込むこと、 その上で同じものを見聞きし違った解釈をしながら寄り添っていくこと。
私たちはこの"誰かを愛すること"という大きさの計れない何かについて音を使って想像し続けました。
恋に落ちてからの自分、流れる時間と動く心、快楽とストレス、 挙げたら終わりの無い、恋愛における不思議なこもごも。
その作業の先に具体的なこたえは無く、あらゆるものが消えては浮かんでを繰り返す。 全てはまるで雲を掴むようなことでした。

創生の最果て (Japanese: “The farthest ends of creation”) refers to the creative and technical limit of the way a musician usually makes music. The author’s aim is to show how an artistic personal language can be sculpted by removing the infinite possibilities of the creative phase, taking into account that this is a stimulus to enlarge the ideas. 
The work takes the shape of an ongoing and ever evolving sound flux where slow and delicate drones alternates with various field recordings collected in Tokyo and the countryside close to the artist’s studio.

Lorenzo Balloni (14 April 1994) is a sound and visual artist from Teramo, Italy. Classically trained drummer, his interest to art dates back to early age when he initially began to play musical instruments just for fun. He attended the arts high school where his interest extended to different forms of artistic experimentation, exploring sonic and visual fields. Later on the lack of artistic stimuli in the academic world changed his mind, diving even more into experimentation. 
His works is highly influenced by Japanese culture, which he takes inspiration from in order to explore himself and to describe the awareness of precariousness of existence.

EVENT HORIZON is an experimental audio/visual work by France Jobin (audio) and Cédrick Eymenier (visual) developed in the summer of 2009.The title of the piece was drawn from the physics term “event horizon” which is a bizarre boundary in space time which gives a black hole it’s name. It is the proximity point in which no matter or radiation (ex.light) can escape and thereby affect an outside observer. It is the black holes effects on its surroundings and the light that doesn’t pass the event horizon that gives physicists their awareness that the black hole exists. 
This project involves the observation of a cityscape after nightfall. The minimal light observed over the city at night masks the flurry of activity that is obscured by buildings and darkness. 
EVENT HORIZON explores the solitary observations of events transmitted via minimal stimuli and the understanding of the existence of incomprehensibly massive amounts of activity that cannot affect the outside observer other than the knowledge that it exists and it is obscured. 
In short, it explores the interaction of the subject with the city and the emotions that come with various sensory stimuli and the contemplation of what the darkness obscures.

I first thought about composing music from the center of gravity of the sound and programed the system. As I tried several experiments, gradually I realized that if it says device, it relates to computer and myself, then, in terms of phenomena, it is a relationship between acoustics and body work.
Although it is a short song of just under 2 minutes, the rhythm of this song is more explicit than it is computer, regardless of whether it is a computer, rather than a periodic BPM given from the outside but my biological rhythm I feel that they are directly projecting things. - Yuki Aida

CONCEPT
The bits stream invades the whole human experience today, influencing the cognitive aspect, perception, learning and communication. Man is irremediably part of this paradoxical process that leads him to experience his emotions by interacting with 0 and 1 combinations, of which the digital videos, images and music are composed. The numerical representation of life and the sensorial stimulation, achieved by combining data into binary format, replaces human primordial needs; by tending towards an abstraction, man sees himself interacting with the machine. The most evolved cultural-technologic manifestation of this new human condition is depicted by the Affective Computing, which is the study and development of devices able to recognize, process and simulate human emotions. These machines should interpret the emotional state of human beings and adapt their behaviour to them: the detection of emotional information begins with sensors which capture data about human speech, facial expressions, psychological reactions, skin temperature and language. Giving to machines emotional capabilities makes it possible to establish and simulate empathy between humans and robots. Transfer is a sonic reflection about all affective phenomena which come out by the use of digital interfaces: the emotions are thus converted twice (reality-digital, digital-reality), creating a transfer between the artist's original purpose and the users.
Transfer has been composed between July 2010 and March 2011. All the recording sessions were made in the summer of 2010 at the Gorges of Salinello (Abruzzo, Italy), a natural reserve located between two mountains, also known as the Monti Gemelli (Twin Mountains). This impressive valley is characterized by beautiful waterfalls, unusual rock patterns, caves, wild flowers and small life forms. Later on, all the organic sounds were processed using computer, audio morphing and re-synthesis techniques.

モンティ‐ジェメッリを背にしたアドリア海に面するイタリア中南部の州、アブルッツォにて制作された今作は、その美しい雄大な渓谷や、洞窟、そして野生の草花などのランドスケープ、フィールドレコーディング素材を、音響技術学校出身である彼ならではのオーディオモーフィングや再合成と言った手法で、見事なまでに美しく再構築した作品である。

彼の創作の関心は、音響的に非常に豊かな音声情報を、いかに今日的なデジタルの情報世界にTransferするか、という事であり、著しく情報量を落とされ、０と１に置換されたデータが、
どれだけ今日の私たちの知覚に無自覚に浸透し、私たちの意識を形成し得るに至っているか、また、そこから、そもそも情報とは何か、その多さ、豊かさとは何か、私たちにとってマッシヴな情報とは一体何なのか、を飜って私たちに問うている。

イタリアのサウンドアーティスト、グラフィックデザイナー。
ローマの映画学校在学中に「電子音楽とフィルムの関係性とオーディオヴィジュアルの現代的な在り方」について、ビルヴィオラ、池田亮司、クリスカニングハム、デヴィッドリンチ作品に言及。
その後、音楽技術学校（IITM）を卒業後、彼の開発した、水中環境の為のマルチチャンネルサウンドシステムが話題となった。
これまでに電子音楽、ヴィデオ作品、インスタレーション、グラフィックデザインを数多く発表。
マイクロサウンドやデジタルエラーなどを多用する彼の作品、彼の創作のまなざしは、現前している聴く事のできない音に向けられている。
近年、イタリア国内やドイツで開催された電子音楽フェスティバルにも多く出演。
OvalやMika Vainioなどとも共演する実績を持つ。

Hakobuneにより即興的に紡がれたギタードローンは、早旦の大気、陽光の中へと踏み出そうとしている張り詰めた想念のように硬質で透明である。 環境音を過剰なまでに加工し有形化されたPleqのパルス音が、薄い網膜、或いは全身を走る神経回路のように繊細に全体を覆うことで、お互いの共鳴する音の粒子は少しずつ加速していき、やがて固有の瑞々しい色が照らし出され始める。

部屋の明かりを少し落として、ただどっぷりと彼らの音が生み出す振動に身を浸して頂きたい！

Guitarist Tsubasa Sugiyama has joined with Murmur Records' electronica unit Liquid Weeld to form flag.frog. Composer, guitarist and Murmur head Yuki Aida will contribute to both groups along with vocalist Emi Aida, who also serves as art director and photographer for all Murmur releases.

flag.frog's debut release, Secrets of the lake / Foreign sun, is a soothing journey into a world of ambient pop, intertwining Oriental melodies of whispered voices and fragmentary guitar with delicate electronic atmospheres.
