This is the 15th track and a sentimental piano song which Yuki put her feelings for the summer past, included in '24 Piano Sketches' that is a new solo album from Yuki Murata, the Tokyo-based pianist/composer and member of the cinematic instrumental music band, Anoice, and its side projects, RiLF and Films.

As the name suggests, '24 Piano Sketches' includes 24 piano songs which Yuki Murata plays improvisations on her own grand and upright pianos. This long project is going to add 2 songs every month and ultimately 24 songs in one year, allowing the listeners to feel the changing of the season in real-time via the beautiful, warm, and sometimes melancholic piano sounds.

This time, she purposely selected a cassette tape recorder, a MiniDisc player, and an early generation of iPhone as the recording equipments for each song, unlike studio albums from her own bands such as Anoice. These retro and simplistic recording devices were able to capture not only a creaking noise coming from the piano and the environmental sounds outside the window, but also a noise occurred by cheap microphones, which make this album so impressive. Its nostalgic soundscape may remind her listeners of her first solo album 'Films' and second solo album 'Home'.

The photos taken by her bandmate of Anoice, Takahiro Kido, on his Polaroid camera every season, are adopted as the cover images of each single, and they will added together with the songs to the following BandCamp page every time a single is released.

Squanto is Ben Lovell from New York. Ben has been releasing his home-recorded experimental folk music on small-run CD-Rs and tapes since 2009, primarily on his own Lily Tapes & Discs, but also on other labels including Rok Lok Records, Diving Station, and now Fluid Audio.

This album was written and recorded 2011-2013 between bedrooms at school and at home, inspired and informed by long aimless walks through familiar neighborhoods in the dark, trying to pretend that eventually there would be something different behind the houses.

Squanto - Parts 3 & 4

Murry co-founded alt-country legends Old 97's in 1992. His first solo album "I Don't Know Where I'm Going But I'm On My Way" garnered rave reviews and inclusion in such things as "The Winding Stream" documentary film on the legendary Carter Family. Murry is thrilled to announce the follow up to that record, the 10-song "Trail Songs of the Deep", due in 2023.

"Trail Songs" was recorded at home with the help of his wonderful band of Annie Crawford on piano and organs, and Richard Hewett on drums and tambourines. For their incredible talents, he is very grateful.
