Der Mann für alles

In jedem Gefängnis gibt es diesen einen Typen der alles besorgen kann. Das beginnt bei Zigaretten und Alkohol, geht über Schmuddelhefte, bis hin zu verbotenen Substanzen aller Art. Prinzipiell gilt, wer das nötige Kleingeld aufbringen kann, führt ein rundum sorgenbefreites und „wunschlos glückliches“ Leben in Haft. Durch die langjährigen Besorgungsaufträge lernt man seine Mitinsassen wohl oder übel näher kennen. Teilweise weiß man wahrscheinlich sogar mehr über die eine andere Vorliebe, als sonst irgendjemand außerhalb der Gefängnismauern. Gerade deshalb ist es so wichtig keine Fragen zu stellen. Der Job wird angenommen, ausgeführt und anschließend die Ware, sowie die Bezahlung übergeben. Doch in den meisten Fällen bleibt ein Plausch nicht aus. In diesen Gesprächen wird zumeist die unrechtmäßige Verurteilung kritisiert, am Essen rumgemäkelt oder einfach Knast-Small Talk betrieben. Recht selten trifft man auf wirklich interessante Personen. Doch Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel, so wie im Fall Waldemar Zweckel. Eigentlich begann alles mit einem recht simplen Auftrag: „Ich brauche eine Stange Camel Filterkippen und zwei Gramm Weed“. Es war dieser eine Auftrag und Mensch, der mein Leben in Haft komplett auf den Kopf stellte …

Der heutige KataHaifisch Podcast von luçïd ist einer von der abwechslungsreichen und ausgewogenen Sorte. Zu Beginn ist die Musik noch optimistisch und heiter, über die Zeit wird sie dann immer energetischer, dann wieder melancholisch-nachdenklich und schlussendlich entlädt sich das Set in einer Flut aus guter Laune. Dabei wirkt jeder Song stimmig und sitzt genau an dem für ihn vorgesehenen Platz. luçïd serviert uns heute wahres Prachtexemplar von Podcast. Fragen des Alltags. Wie hungrig sind 24 Stunden ohne Appetit, wann singen die Vögel wieder lauter als der Nachbar aus dem zweiten Stock, wieviel Frischluft bleibt vom Frühling unter einer Maske und wann sind die Nächte wieder kürzer als die Tage? 
Wenn ein 24 Stundennachweis die Tür für 24 Stunden Freiheit bedeutet, Normalität wieder denkbarer erscheint, in einer unnormal verrückten Welt. Wenn die Lichter die Augen blenden und Sonnenbrillen Sonntagsbegleiter werden, wenn Musik wieder aus 1x1 Kästen statt Bluetooth-Born tönt, dann scheint es wohl bald so wie früher.

Francesco Rizzi (@https://soundcloud.com/francesco_rizzi) presents "Icarus hidden willow walk" Afterhour Sounds Podcast Nr. 240

Unsere Nr. 240 kommt heute von einem Berliner Künstler, welchen ich seit ungefähr zwei Jahren verfolge. Sein Sound ist zum einen träumerisch und melodisch, aber auch druckvoll und deep zugleich. Die goldene Mitte zu finden gelingt ihm dabei immer.

Die Rede ist von Francesco Rizzi der mit seinem groovigen, melodischen und hypnotischen Sound im Gewand des Downtempos immer wieder für eine Überraschung gut ist. Dazu aber später mehr. Zudem ist er Teils des aufstrebenden Berliner Kollektivs ‚Pandora‘ (https://soundcloud.com/pandora-crew-official) und der Karlsruher Bande von ‚Kollektiv Liebe‘ (https://soundcloud.com/kollektiv-liebe).

Sein für uns aufgenommenes Set hat mich anfangs tatsächlich vollkommen überrascht. Neben vielen dezent verspielten und teils verschickten Elementen macht er von Anfang an klar, wohin die Reise geht. Nämlich in die Zeit des Sonnenaufgangs. Die Klänge sind federleicht, fast schon hypnotisch, als ob die ersten Sonnenstrahlen auf dem Gesicht tanzen und doch zugleich bestimmend und subversiv drückend. Generell ist der Anfang des Podcasts phänomenal. Hier treffen nämlich hypnotische und groovige Soundelemente aufeinander und verbinden sich mit cineastischen Melodien zu einem extraterrestrischen Erlebnis. Im weiteren Verlauf eröffnet er dem Hörer sein eingangs beschriebenes Soundverständnis und wechselt konsistent zwischen Spannung und Entspannung ab. Trotz des leicht erhöhten, aber immer noch stark reduzierten Tempi grooven die Tracks weiterhin und entfalten erst so eine tiefenerweiternde Wirkung. Hier ein Clap, da eine verschrobene Acidline, da eine Melodie….ja das passt. Und dies über 149 Minuten. Definitiv eine Klasse Interpretation seiner Afterhour.

Schnallt euch an… Ich kann mich nur wiederholen, aber es erwartet euch eine Reise, die wie gemacht für eine Afterhour ist. Keine Phrase, keine Fake-News, sondern ehrliche Worte eines musikverliebten Spessarters.

Ich danke dir vielmals Francesco für dieses besondere Set. Umwerfend tiefenergreifend und erfrischend gut. Chapeu.

Anbei noch seine Stellungnahme zu unseren Fragen:

Was macht deiner Meinung nach eine gute Afterhour aus?
Wenn der Gute-Laune-Train einmal ins rollen gekommen ist steht der guten Afterhour so wieso nichts mehr im Wege. Tschu, Tschu,.. und
mindestens genauso wichtig ist es natuerlich wo und wem du dich Gemeinsam auf diese Reise begibst, gerne mit neuen, als auch alten
Bekanntschaften und am besten eine ausgewogene Mischung! :)

 Welche Gedanken magst du uns zu deinem Mix mit auf den Weg geben?
Aspetta e vedrai! Was soviel heißt wie: warte ab und du wirst sehen!
Wenn du nicht gerade auf einer Afterhour am ab Steppen bist, hoere dir das Set doch gerne beim naechtlichen Spaziergang an. Das tue ich
zumindest sehr gerne, das holt mich meistens nochmal ganz anders ab. :)

A dream came true - Even if we where asked to play an easy Downtempo Set, which is a little different from how we like to play now at Gigs, we felt so happy and blessed to be invited by the lovely booking Crew of Dubstation Stage of the legendary and unique Fusion Festival in Lärz, Germany. What an honor to play there - hard to describe the feeling we had, when our phone rang with the invitation, the feeling to be back at this Festival after 4 years but this time as Artists and the feeling we had when we started our Set at this amazing created Dubstation. 

We didn't knew where the journey was leading us but with all the love of these strong Folks that stayed awake to dance and seesaw with us, this is what came out. Long story short, listen yourself. Here is the result of our 3 hour trip at 3am on Fusion Thursday.

We are still buzzing and dreaming, was that real? We had such an incredible time and couldn't have been happier for our debut at Katerblau. I asked her to describe her journey, and this is what she mentioned:

"Why you ask me? Because emotions have a way of finding their way out a half-Italian soul. 

So, better, moderate them by transforming them into melodic tunes and deep baselines - heavy and melancholic, with driving energy or in lighthearted moments even cheerful, sweet-talking you into taking a break from the everyday-hassle. At least, I hope so"
