@snarexx hails from the Far East and is an integral part of the vibrant Tomtom community and its associated gatherings. His artistic vision is deeply rooted in the raw energy of the ghetto dance scenes found in Chicago, Detroit, and the Southern rap culture.
Stepping into the electronic scene with unwavering commitment in 2020, Snarexx chose notable platforms like Urban, No Service, Habibi Bass, Philthtrax, Urwaxx, and Posse Up! among others to release his innovative sounds. Notably, in the spring of 2023, he unveiled a remarkable EP on Ovelha Trax.
In a departure from his usual style, Snarexx has crafted an exceptional mix for us, delving into the realms of dirty and distorted electro. Enjoy it!

Dutch West Coast selector, Intergalactic Gary is in charge of this month's episode of The MUSAR Show, delivering a 90-minute flawless journey through raw Chicago house, hidden Italo gems, and chugging electro tracks. Connecting electronic music bridges at its best, enjoy! 

With more than 35 years behind the decks, Intergalactic Gary involved in The Hague music scene since day one, started in the early 90s by playing squat and club parties which later continued as a residency at The Hague's first-ever house club in 1992, playing regional pirate radio stations and travel around the world through the years and become a regular guest at some of the most respectable music festivals and clubs, such as Dekmantel Festival/Selectors, IFM Festival, Unsound, Tresor, De School to name a few.

In the studio he’s laid down mutant, disco-tinged electro as The Parallax Corporation and electro and ambient synth pop soundtracks as The Conservatives, both with I-F. He's also recently collaborated with Pasiphae on Bio Rhythm, and for Stroboscopes and Smokemachines, a new documentary about underground electronic music. He aims simply to make music he would want to hear on a night out and imbues his work with a sense of melancholy, but always paired with driving dance floor dynamics that mix up analogue and digital textures.

2023 has unarguably been a great year for Electro both with overall visibility for the public as well as with the sheer number of quality releases being put out over the year. With a newfound buzz surrounding my beloved genre, I'm hardly keeping up! I feel like It was a busy year both production-wise and promotion-wise for @DVSNME and @DarkScienceElectro respectively, however, I found some time to put together a mix of my personal favorite tracks from 2023. Cyber is a vinyl-only DJ based in Vilnius, with over 20 years of experience in techno and electro. Starting with hardtechno music, he gained recognition through underground parties in his hometown. Now a part of the Digital Tsunami team, DJ Cyber continues to push boundaries and captivate audiences with his exceptional mixing skills and deep knowledge of electronic music.

The musical intent of the Grenoble-based artist Binary Digit is rooted in an undefined style that sits at the crossroads between acid techno, braindance and electro. This results in a melodious whole together, with a touch of melancholy.
Through the use of magnetic tapes, outdated software and synthesizers, Binary Digit allows these diverse musical influences to melt into unique and overpowering sounds that never fail to arouse deep emotions.
After several albums released on Opal Tapes and Stochastic Releases, contributions on various compilations, and EPs dropped by Dream Ticket or Zeitnot, in 2021 Binary Digit launches his label Postal Code Records. Its first release, From Berriat To Pitteurs is the product of a brilliant collaboration with the Belgian producer Victor Ziegler - enough to make us crave to discover the exciting upcoming projects that the label has in store for us.

Which artist has influenced you the most?

- It's hard to pick one, but to narrow it down roughly I'll pick "AFX" on "Analord 9".


What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- Some releases from mine as well as other artists are to be expected soon on my tape label Postal Code Records. I also got a few singles coming on some cool labels, stay tuned !


Which artists/labels are more relevant to you now?

- I could say labels like WeMe, Clone, Stilleben or many that have a consistent output over decades. It's to hard to pick just a few favorites =/


What inspires you now to create music?

- Computers, boredom and sleep deprivation.
