Kai Rodriguez debuts on Hottrax with two punchy cuts across his ‘Undaground’ EP. 

An imprint known for releasing quality material from established artists including East End Dubs and Christian Burkhardt, through to surging talents such as SOSA, Mason Collective and Wheats, Jamie Jones’ Hottrax continues to uncover new music from all corners of the house scene. Continuing their push for discovering fresh talent, December welcomes the addition of a new name as Northampton-based DJ/producer Kai Rodriguez prepares his biggest release to date with two rhythmic grooves across his ‘Undaground’ EP. 

Leading with rattling percussion, robust kicks and enticing vocal chants, ‘Undaground’ reveals an energetic opening production, while ‘POWR’ welcomes an up-front, no-nonsense production via snaking hats, distorted beats and pulsating basslines.

Between these artists, they share a breadth of musical knowledge and experience with both artists playing and producing Electronic music for more than a decade. With combined releases on an impressive list of labels including Saved, HotTrax, Knee Deep In Sound, Toolroom Trax, AVOTRE, Sola Nauts and more, both artists have more than proven they have enough skills to back up the hype. With Jamie Jones already supporting in his sets, the 'Bolx' EP looks set to go off in the club, expect shuffling percussion, robust drums, rumbling low-end, hypnotic synths and infectious basslines throughout!

Late Replies are back on their imprint for the third time this year with 2 powerful underground anthems, which feature 2 talented vocalists in Shyam P & Rayzir.

The A side, 'Not Perfect' is a perfect blend of deep tech and sexy. Shyam P's harmonic melodies hosts the vibe while keeping the gritty feel for the dance floor. This combined with Late Replies' rolling glitchy percs and pumping bass line guarantees a good time on the dance floor.

The B side, 'Never Know' is a constant deep acid sequence roller polished with Rayzir's slick vocal which will hug the club. The snapping RD8 snare pierces through the speakers while the bass line takes you on a deep ride.
