this was the first video game remix I ever made. I took it down cause I posted it on r/nintendo and someone said it sounded like shit.

Instead of using soundfonts, I spliced together the actual tracks to make a medley. My band used to play this live.

Mostly inspired by Megaman X and Touhou's soundtracks, originally it was planned to be a more dance-y track to be easier for the Rhythm aspect of the game, but I changed my mind because a more rock-ish tone would fit the boss fight better.
