Listening to MUSHROOM GIANT was like seeing a William Blake painting interpreted by MOGWAI, TRAVELLING FLOWER BAND and SWANS at their most recent. A vocalist of Cedric Bixler or Matt Bellamy’s ilk could perhaps take them that extra mile towards greatness. Nonetheless, MUSHROOM GIANT were at the very least on par with some of their better known contemporaries."
