Prepare for a bit of a ramble.. But this is about the state of Mushroomizer right now, since I feel as though the fact that I hadn't released a track in about 5 months should be addressed. So yeah, a lot of things have happened recently that have caused me releasing music to be a bit of an issue. There are the boring reasons (like exams and all that crud), but one of the main (and actually interesting) ones is that I have been asked to make a few tracks for an upcoming game. And since I feel those tracks have to be to an actually somewhat professional standard, I’ve been spending a lot more time on those than anything else.
This will at least mean that at some point, a load of tracks from me will all get released at around the same time! Which hopefully will redeem me for having this massive gap in uploads.. One final thing though, I have an original track in the works too, and have for about 6 months now.. It’s undoubtedly the biggest production I have ever done, and will be a bit different from the usual stuff you’ve heard from me so far. I want to experiment more, with new styles and interesting sound-design. And ultimately, I want the tracks I make as Mushroomizer to both be enjoyable to you all, but also represent a bit about who I am as a person. And I feel you’ve been getting that so far, and I want that to continue.
So yes.. tldr: Lots of new cool stuff on the way soon. And hopefully you’ll love it.
