“Corona on the Scene” is an educational freestyle 
rap song I wrote about the facts and safety concerns 
of the global COVID-19 pandemic. In the rap song, I 
highlight the importance of being hygienic and sanitary.

Corona’s getting bigger than it ever was before. 
Doctors are frantically searching for the cure.  
Hospital bills skyrocket, cases soar. 
Bet you thought it was a joke, but it’s not anymore.

No more saying bless you when you sneeze.
Call a doctor if you even hear a wheeze.
We’re not playing out here it’s a disease. 
And when you're coughing cover your mouth, please!

Ten thousand people in quarantine. 
Sorry, I don’t want to sound mean, but you’re either 
dirty or clean, no in-between.
Corona had to come and teach y’all good hygiene.

Now you wanna wash your hands. 
Now you wanna understand.
Now you wanna give in to the demands that this virus 
is worse because it’s now reaching your lands.

Now you wanna use your hand sanitizer.
Let me use my corona analyzer.
Sterilizer, medical advisor.
Who needs a mask when I got a tranquilizer?
 
People out here saying influenza’s worse.  
While Corona still continues to disperse.
Call a doctor; call a nurse. 
Save me now before they have to call a hearse.

Wear gloves, wear a mask, don’t expose your skin. 
Don’t take your immune system for a spin.
Let’s begin, don’t let it in. Once it's in your body it 
will try its best to win.  
Don’t touch your eyes, nose, mouth or face.  
Watch who you embrace, carry tissues just in case.

Now you wanna wear a mask. Do I even have to ask? 
The virus still can make it past and it travels fast, so 
the mask won’t last.

Now you wanna wear your gloves. 
Pray to the lord up above.
Pray he sends you down a dove. 
Pray he sends you down his mercies.
Pray he sends you down his love.

All the racist comments hurt.
Now you wanna be alert.
Now you wanna wash the dirt out of your 
shirt and become an inert, introvert. 

Not so serious when it was first detected
Thousands of dollars just to get yourself inspected. 
Fear is expected as more get infected, the world is 
not protected, just as I suspected.

So you’re scared to ride the train.
Don’t wanna travel on a plane.
Said you can’t handle the pain, and there’s 
nothing left to gain? Well it seems like the 
world has gone completely insane. 

Yo, now you’re covering your pores.
Now you wanna stay indoors.
Got me down on all fours, 
spraying Lysol on the floors, 
people buy out all the stock from the stores,

A global pandemic with the world in S.O.S.
People are fearful in a state of much distress,
Government its time that you confess, 
Clean up your mess and put this rap song on the press.
