For whom the bells toll: Notte Brigante is back in the longplayer spheres, unearthing for mother earth nine tracks by French producer, musician and PMR label runner ASSID, that spellbind under the entitlement “Connaissance des Lois Cosmiques“. An utterly surprising, dark-ish fever dance of many styles, synth-ages, tribal zones, and cosmic flashes! Ingredients, that ASSID sucked up from his many musical adventures. As Trackmark he is active since 1998 and self-released four longplayers that glitch abstract through the electronic galaxies. He is also part of the Strasbourg, France based band The John Merricks, living the psychedelic dream in unity with lo-fi swing, dub, electronic, Acid rock and all that noise. When he feels like going fully electric, he joins his buddy Doudouboy and invents as Electric Muezzin abstract dub, that thrills all delays and echoes of creation. With “Connaissance des Lois Cosmiques “, the man from the Drôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France distributes an amalgamation of all his different artistic avenues. You get dubbed. You get cosmic. You get waved into a darkness, that is illuminated by psychedelic drifts, but at the end it’s just a trip!

The main thing is to believe in yourself and become helpless, like children. Because weakness is great, and strength is negligible. When a person is born, he is weak and flexible, and when he dies, he is strong and callous. When a tree grows, it is gentle and flexible, and when it is dry and hard, it dies. Callousness and strength are the companions of death. Weakness and flexibility - express the freshness of being. Therefore, what is hardened couldn't win.
Montreal's ISLA presents 'AE' - two 12"s of rhythmic hypnosis from the eXquisite CORpsE related project, XqST (Robbert Heijnen and Debbie Jones). AE logic symbols that stand for "For All" and "There Exists" is a deep and meditative journey moving further into the more abstract territories that Robbert and Debbie previously explored with eXquisite CORpsE.
Most of the material on the record is selected from improvisations Robbert and Debbie recorded in their home studio in Vancouver, BC during 2003, except for "SDLY" which was recorded in the Netherlands in 1996.

Taken from the two sonic explorers’ aquatic jam sessions in Berlin, these four tracks delve into subaquatic machinery and synaptic oscillations. Intuitive, time-distorting, mind melting improvisations recorded between 2019 and 2020 in Matthias Kanik's (GATS) studio.

For the first time, these soundwaves will be translated into the physical world in the shape of a limited Cassette (K7) pressing, inaugurating the Curuba Tapes series ////
