For the 135th edition of Desert Hut Podcast Series, we’re pleased to welcome Maricha.

Maricha is a DJ, Producer and Performer who hails from Siberia and currently resides in Ibiza.

Maricha calls her style «Intelligent Dance», which explores the ranges from deep house, melodic and organic house to downtempo electronic music, cre- ating magical sets for intimate parties at sunset and captivating massive crowds with a frenetic, natural dance energy on larger venue dance floors.

In addition to her skills as a DJ, Maricha has remarkable vocal abilities, stemming from her time as a singer in her youth. She synthesises both of her gifts in her program, combining flawless DJ sets and live vocal improvisations for a truly singular experience.

Each appearance of Maricha is an opportunity to feel the aesthetics of a true artist and a transcendent experience.

Her first EP «Secret» was released on WAYU records label, 17th January, 2020 and received a good support of colleagues, second EP «Spring» came out on DialtoneRecords in May 2020. Subsequent releases also interested the public with their unordinary.

All Maricha’s tracks are unusual stories with their own characters-sounds and musical plot. Music in the style of Electronic/Downtempo and Melodic House.

Maricha has become a well-known DJ on Ibiza, where she is resident of Ethereal Party, several beach clubs as Sunset Ashram, Beach House, Elements as well as being part of international events like Aria, Who Сares, Elements at famous clubs Heart Ibiza, Pacha and Cova Santa.

Maricha is the host of 2 weekly broadcasts on Ibiza Global Radio. Every Friday from 9pm she plays dance house music in her FLUID radio show and every Tuesday from 2pm she shares a soft and organic sound in her daytime show INNER GARDEN...

Back with a 3,5 hour selection of strictly dance music, a mixture of different house music subgenres seemlessly changing one another. It took me 6 months to get myself to record another Train Station podacst due to many facts, glad i did it. Big respect to the ones who make it to the end of the mix in one go!

Opening Set - Birthday bash

Another year bringing in 2023 in Medellin.  

Old friends and new gathered on our roof terrace once again to celebrate life and bring in 2023 in the most proper of ways.

✅ Music to lift the spirit and move the body 
 ✅ A tight sound system
 ✅ A solid crew of heart centered friends 
✅ No alcohol   
✅ Plenty of other molecules that allow for maintaining the right altitude and attitude 
✅ Views of the most magical city, Medellin, that lights up in fireworks & celebration

Here’s a taste of my set that night that, as per usual, weaves a story through many genres and produced smiling faces, closed eyes, and hands held high in celebration as we prayed, played and connected through the rhythms into the early morning of 2023.

Cheers to making 2023 the most magical year yet… to transcending the bullshit and embracing the real shit that makes us whole, living with purpose and power.
