Tunes are inspired by the beautiful summertime sunsets seen from the Zentash bedroom studio located in the apartment building on the 15th floor in the city of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Hercegovina.. 
Melow and melancholic mood wich evokes memories of the summers come to pass, smell of the summer air and warm rays of the sun on your face as the day turns into night right there before your eyes.

Alchemy Dubs is proud to present our second release on 7” format.
This is the second volume of our Melodica Trilogy, that consists of three different melodica tracks performed by three different players (limited edition of 500 units each). All with dubs on the B side, as usual.

After the slow-paced “Magma” that features Camila M on melodica, we are now speeding up the tempo on this one, Light & Power, a track that features the mighty Nik Torp on melodica and is produced by Ojah.

On the A side we find Nik’s wild melodica version featuring super-fast live arpeggios and multiple experimental melodica tricks, taking the instrument to old and new territories at the same time. A true master’s performance.

On the B side we find a spacey stripped-down dub version, in this case executed by Ojah at Alchemy Dubs Studio.

Lewis Hopkin has managed to cut an incredible amount of sub-bass on this 7”, but don’t take our word for it, check it for yourself and you shall hear and feel, earth-shaking material!

Mixed by Ojah, mastered via 1/2 inch tape by Lewis Hopkin and served in a thick kraftliner sleeve.

Limited edition of 500 copies, hand-stamped and hand-numbered.

At the end of 2016, Culture Dub Records presents "Kush & Rags" for free download! This is a 12 tracks compilation extracted from two albums: "The Dragonfly Rags" and "Elephant Kush", but also an unreleased Dub of R-Dug… Ethno Dub Steppa! 

Since his beginnings, R-Dug has adopted a combination between Dub Roots, Digital and UK Steppa. He has produced Electro-Dub live in France and abroad very often. Culture Dub loves his uncommon music style, and we met him this summer 2016 in Psychobydub #8 at Barnave (France). Then, we decided to release a best of in free download, keeping in mind our philosophy. 

"Kush & Rags" is a compilation of tracks extracted from "The Dragonfly Rags" and his musical background where heavy Dub Steppa stands alongside World Music. The other album "Elephant Kush" is heavy with groovy sample, huge rhythmic, captivating guitar rifts and samples from some traditional music. In this compilation there is also an unreleased tune freshly composed and recorded: ‘Its Natural’, just for you! 

Behind the name R-Dug is Bruno Pronesti, a well-known Dub producer and real performer, multi-instrumentist, singer and beatmaker by turns. Moreover, he works with Reggae-Dub Live&Full Power band and also bellow the name Mr Duc with his Electro-Dub Indus project. 

"Kush & Rags" is the fifth free download release of Culture Dub Records, and this one is sure to please to every Dub lover! In Dub We Trust!

10 titres qui ouvrent un dancefloor où la lutte sociale est une fête revigorante. En unissant leurs forces sur le Lavoblaster Remix, Dubamix et The Joke réactivent un adage essentiel : « Si ta révolution ne danse pas, ne m’invite pas à ta révolution. »

Dub Escape Plan, seventh album by Pablo Géléoc is a project always influenced by the French Dub of the 90s and the English stepper, identifiable by a continuous beat, a repetitive bass, percussive skanks and intuitive effects.

Album that can be seen as a space opera-like conceptual achievement, Dub Escape Plan is a journey that has its roots in science fiction cinema and literature. The orchestration is epic with the use of stringed instruments, traditional and ethnic sounds, the rhythms and arrangements are when they are purely dub. The dycotomy between tradition and modernity has always been the driving force of the Jean-Paul Dub project, this new album is a new example.
