A piano piece I wrote when I was 22 years old, after hearing something else and wanted to make something similar, so it turned out totally different. The orchestral parts were added much later, some even short before uploading here.

Mad World Cover

A song from a fairly unknown band originating in Finland. Their lyrics truly justify the band's name: Poets of the fall. Anyone who is into poetic lyrics with a meaning should look into their music! This version is different from the original, using mainly piano instead of guitar, and adding some strings. Enjoy!

Keeping the dream alive - Freiheit (Cover)

This song was written for the Hell Freezes Over tour. Known it for a long time and thought I should make a cover of it. Although I left some key elements the same I also tried to make it a little different. Hope you like it! And don't forget to click the heart if you do ;-)

The song of R.E.M., always loved it, always will probably. Did my own interpretation, enjoy!

A German song about growing apart. Beautiful lyrics and great music.

Auf Anderen Wegen - Andreas Bourani (Cover)

This is the opening track of their second album. For me the best one on that album, even though it was never a single as far as I know. I didn't try to copy the original, but there are still a lot of elements there. Hope you like it!

Scoundrel Days - A - Ha (Cover)

I did not record the vocals & piano, as they were from the downloadable acoustic version of Vic's channel. I did add the strings and occasional flute though. Really like the song, and I hope my part compliments it :-)

Daylight - Vic Anselmo (Orchestra arr by David Groeneveld)

This song is originally produced by Timbaland, which is probably still a bit noticable in some of the vocal parts, but other than that I completely changed the sound of the song. Added more vocals, as usual, and a lot of guitars, making it more into a rock song.

Scream - Chris Cornell (Cover)

Did this a while ago and decided to upload it. It's in no way an attempt to copy the original, just gave it my own sounds and added some tracks like extra arpeggios, strings, even brass. 

Crockett's Theme Cover

I already did a normal cover of this one, but after rehearsing it with a friend he started messing around with the chords in the break, and that inspired me to make a slow version with piano, orchestra and, well, something different. 

You Dont Know - Milow (Slow Ballad Cover)

In the past I was completely captivated by the music of Jean-Michel Jarre. So I started making music like him, only not with the same kind of equipment. And know-how. These days I learned a lot more about sound and synths, and I managed to recreate that wonderful Jarre sound, the whooshing pad, that I intended for this piece of music. And then I went further, and added real instruments, orchestral sounds. I can only hope there are other people out there who can appreciate and enjoy this kind of music.

Hurting (Original)

This song is not very well known, but in my opinion it is one of the true gems from the eighties, both musically and lyrically. Added some guitars, made the drums a bit more life-like.

Just my own version of the hitsong by the dutch band Racoon.

Love you more - Racoon (Cover)

A true classic, but I gave it a more modern style.

Wicked Game - Chris Isaak (Cover)

I made this version to see what's possible with only the stockl instruments and fx in Studio One 5 Pro. I pretty much did this from memory, so don't expect an exact copy of the original, it's more a demonstration than anything.
