Here's my contribution to the "Kickass Synth School Start Challenge."
The main objective of this challenge is to produce a track using primarily drum-oriented synthesizers.
For my track, I'm using only two synths: a Behringer EDGE for the first half of the track and a Behringer GRIND for the second half.
The GRIND is a semi-modular synth whose various synthesis engines come from the Brains module (a Plaits clone from Mutable Instruments). I used it here to create kicks, bell sounds, a 303-style acid bassline, and chords. The chords were created with the "chords" engine. The DAW sends a single note, and I modify the type of chord produced on the fly.
