After more than 25 dirty releases on Liondub International, our 26th delivers a dancehall-ready vocal and version from Liondub main man Marcus Visionary, featuring a new lyrical appearance from legendary Jamaican vocalist Johnny Osbourne. Straightforward as its title, 'Jungle Skanking' opens with a swinging pure reggae section before Visionary brings the drums for the main body, even while the remaining instrumentation stays mostly unchanged. Over sirens and horns, the legend sings the praises of skanking to jungle with the youth to this modern music. The flip side adds an extra layer of dub effects throughout to thicken the atmosphere while stripping out the vocal, but it brings the opportunity to appreciate the many finer details in Visionary's production and stands fine on its own. This is a perfect example of a proper modern day Ragga Jungle anthem and is perfect for dubplate voicing and for live MC's to chat over at the dance. With a strong dose of positive vibrations Johnny Osbourne and Marcus Visionary nice up the dance for Liondub International in 2015 and beyond.
