This week we welcome Matt Sadler aka Talking Motion, a DJ & selector based in the rainy city of Manchester.

Matt has previously hosted a monthly show on Balamii radio where he brought an eclectic mix of styles spanning soul, jazz funk, new wave and more. He can be found playing at the likes of London’s Brilliant Corners where he plays every other month and so far has hosted guests including Hames and Hvar & Elise (mokomizik records). Closer to home he can be found DJing at NAM and Eastern Bloc in Manchester amongst others.

Matt has a passion for audio fidelity and has an dreamy home setup including a Prima Luna tube amp, Klipsch speakers and an Isonoe mixer. This time he’s recorded an all vinyl, genre hopping mix that goes heavy on jazz funk, boogie and italo and sounds  so so sweet through his mixer. Enjoy!

So this was me back on the airwaves on Tues night(15/11/22)..for my fortnightly jaunt into everything D3EP. For this one I went crate diggin’ again for part 2 of the ripped vinyl sessions. On a slightly different tip, we visited some of the tracks that I grew my club career on back in the early nineties, crossing the boundaries of Early French and US jazz influenced house through to Chicago/Detroit techno. One thing is certain it was definitely deep with a wonky edge..dust ya hard hats off and enjoy ;)  Peace X
