Deep peace to you

It's the end of June. Most birds are engaged in breeding chicks or the chicks have already left the nest. There aren't many forest birds who sing anymore. I find Icterine Warbler singing in the black alder forest. At some point, Wren will join him. 
Recording contains sound that sounds like white noise. The air is no longer crystal clear like the mornings of May. Wind in the leaves, the insects and maybe my new pair of em-172 microphones are contributing to this. From time to time there is a knocking sound, these are two trunks of trees that are pushed together by the wind. The photo was taken exactly where the sound was recorded. I believe there is some kind of crepis in the picture

Interstellar was originally a track started by a friend of mine (@Joeyhatz) whilst we were both part of the Mono & Stereo project back in 2018. He came to me with the track and I loved it. Together we worked on finding the perfect recipe for this track - the progression, atmosphere - where the percussions are placed … how the sounds dive in and out. 


In the end the product is one for the books - a classic of the Mono & Stereo project. Today this song has been completely renewed and remastered to 2024 standards, exclusively for Spiritual Goo.

When I first started out, I released a ton of music in a relatively small span of years. I've done some stuff independently, and with the help of a few chance encounters I ended up on a label where I made some valuable friends that I still keep in contact with, as well as shape my view of music and the industry I found myself in. I did some physical run of CDs, did some remixing, and came back after a few years with a renewed interest in making music.

The past year has definitely felt like a new chapter in my attempt at being a musician, so I've decided to close the book on the previous chapter with a compilation album of the songs that are my personal favourites. Because I didn't just want to regurgitate old content, I've remastered a few songs to make them sound more up to date, and I've included a few previously unreleased tracks from that chapter to sweeten the deal!

I hope you enjoy the compilation! If you're new to my music, I think it'll serve as a great introduction.

It'll be free to download from SoundCloud and Bandcamp of course and it will be hitting streaming services on the same date, streaming services breaking street date notwithstanding.
