Lars Noll is a Berlin-based visual artist with a focus on painting. He is one of the founders of "3ECK Kollektiv", which was active between 2011 and 2016 building sculptural skateboard ramps in urban spaces and institutions like Young Arts Nk, Urban Spree, and Stattbad Wedding. While organizing exhibitions and associated gatherings of 3ECK he finds interest in playing and putting music together.

'What about... podcast' by Publishing Station is part of our "get-together" series, a showcase of projects we like that look at popular music and sounds from various angles.

"What do we like about podcast" has been a question in the back of our minds (and ears) since Publishing Station celebrated one-year anniversary. As we could easily face and look at all the content online, whether visual or audio-based, the wonder behind why we chose this medium remains. Words related to care, collectivity, and bodily experience float as me and Marta video call for the umpteenth time in order to put forward these reflections in an actual podcast. Being far away from one another but alined to work on PS has been the most demanding task yet it set a very special boundary that allowed us to flourish as best friends and collaborators. To deliver to the listeners our very intimate and sometimes non-linear thoughts the podcast takes the form of an internal monologue. Its hesitation and pondering sounds want to caress and stimulate the listener to join the wonder while the music retraces the concealed side of PS. A collection of what at first we considered to be discarded tracks. Those forgotten melodies that could have had potential, sooner or later. And here we are, hopping from one episode to the other, with different rhythms, moods, and genres, creating one of our own. And that is exactly what we like about it.

To pointy-toothed critters, to filigree wing beats, to ultrasonic echolocation, to seeing with your ears, to vampire animals. In short: to bats.

An incursion within the contemporany scene of Skopje curated by Galatheia. Galatheia, or Tèa Shaldeva, is a versatile artist and DJ from Skopje. Since early childhood, music has been the only constant passion that has guided her to be a vocalist in a few bands, a radio show host (Kanal 103, 2010-2017; Amok Radio, 2021-2022), and a producer of her own music. Her affair with electronic beats starts circa 2012, when she releases her first EP. In the following years, she keeps releasing EPs and an album, has collaborations with multiple local artists, and DJs regularly. Her penchant for chaos is the main guiding force behind her mix for Mutant Radio, closing off the first take at Underskopje - a podcast that aims to meet-and-greet its audience with the colorful alternative music hailing from North Macedonia, but also the Balkans.

One of the best folk sets I had the pleasure to listen - Here his the come back and the last call. He decided to call this ever last one " Folk and Loathing in downtown Provence". Here you are.
