In order to compose, I imagined a “Blizzard” cinematic and scored it. The only rule was that it could not be longer than 2 minutes.

BEYOND THE STARS (v2): Here’s a track that I needed to get out of the drawer for some years now but felt that only had the abilities to pull it off nowadays.

The music was composed, arranged, sequenced and mixed by myself and it was orchestrated by the talented Miguel Teixeira, who also worked with me for the Madeira Film Experience documentary. Like the documentary, this track has the ability to be performed live.

The original music was composed years ago focusing on the concept of the epicness of the universe as well as the exciting side of being in love. And on this new arrangement, I decided to focus a bit more on the romantic side of that journey. I feel that the feeling of a “sober” love can be as exciting, thrilling, uncertain, suspenseful and eye opening as a journey throughout the universe. I tried to capture those feelings on the theme and on the way the music is built.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it!

P.S. - The mockup you see on the video is not my current template. This one is an expansion from the previous template I had years ago. Every single lines, colours, dots, waveforms, midi track, audio tracks… every single information was what I recently had to work on in order to produce what you are hearing now.

After learning about the passing of Stan Lee, I decided to compose something small in honour of the man who provided my older brother and I with amazing comics to read at night. My favourites were X-Men, Spider-Man and a couple of obscure Wolverine issues. Being a 90’s kid, I also used to watch the cartoons of both X-Men and Spider-Man whenever I could.

I fitted some images on top of the music in the hope of grasping your attention =). Hope you enjoy it!

In Memoriam Stan Lee

(This is an extract from the soundtrack)

Great news! The short-documentary, Recovery - which I composed the music for - got the Short Award Winner at the Dublin Feminist Film Festival! The third award gathered so far.

Congrats, Ren Canga and Siofra QuinnGates!

This short features the testament of three sexual assault survivors about how they managed to overcome their experience. It is also a project that I felt honoured to be asked to score but at the same time worried, as I felt a big responsibility to live up to it. Thanks again, Ren, for trusting me with the subject and for giving me free reign, artistically.
