What's Up - DEMO

This is my first attempt at making a beat with an MPC 1000.
I have no idea what I'm doing, I watched 1 youtube tutorial to give me a rough guide, but I managed to learn how to input what samples I wanted to use. I decided to use Nancy Wilson, "Never Will I Marry" as I love that song and it's so much better working with music you love when doing something new like this.

The beat wasn't recorded into my laptop, due to lack of cables to make that bit possible, but I did a sound recording from my phone, the MPC1000 went through my busking amp, so even more limited on decent sound quality there, but I did the best I could with a room take lol And added some other layers via my computer.
