November is the hardest month of the entire year for me. As some of you know, I lost my best friend to suicide 7 years ago on November 20th. His loss was the single most destructive thing in my life, and I will never ever forget the impact he had made on who I am. The Half Heart Project was born out of the passion his loss gave me, the passion to do everything in my power to help as many lives as possible. Every single year from the year of his passing, I've done something to honor his life, and this year, after a lot of thought, I've decided to make my dedication to him the greatest embodiment of the drive and motivation I've felt since that day several years ago.

"watercolor" is my second album, but it is my most personal piece of work. Every single song has tons of meaning and memories associated with it. The idea of watercolor comes from 7 years of learning and living since the loss of my best friend. In the same way watercolor paint dries into paper, The passion I felt after his passing has become a part of who I am now.

I'm really excited to share the album with you all. The support of what I do has made me really happy to do what I do. Thank you everyone.

The song is a very unique blend of synthwave / retrowave elements and breaks/breakbeat. It's a pretty sad/melancholic track that is trying to invoke feelings of liminality. its named "The Tower" because it represents the tarot card, which is commonly associated with sudden unforseen change.
