After a couple years away we returned to our favorite mountains. We wandered along old forest trails, scrambled across rocks, crossed glacier fed streams, and submerged as deeply as we could into a  world without concrete and with fewer humans. This song was the result.

p.s. Not sure how to categorize this song - let me know if you think this is Downtempo, New Age, Electronica, or something else.

Created this hopeful song in solidarity with the Iranian Woman, Life, Freedom movement. All voices were recorded at a rally in Toronto, Canada in November 2022.

Started this track a year ago... was digging the vibe and interplay between vocals and instruments, but put it aside when my brain couldn't sort out how to finish it. Picked it back up again a few weeks ago with some fresh energy. Still some things that could/should be tweaked but as always "my next track will be perfect"...

My goal for this piece was a positive, uplifting mood. Used a simple repeating melody with a flute, synth, and evolving drums. "i.e." in the title = inspiration emulation - this track was inspired by Daft Punk's "Veridis Quo". I emulated some of the bass/percussion and arrangement. This piece taught me about evolving arrangements to keep things interesting... still much to learn!

In 1977 mankind sent two spacecraft beyond the far reaches of our solar system, carrying messages of peace and friendship... 

In 2024 these messages are desperately needed here on Earth. 

This heartfelt, vulnerable track is my idealistic and sincere hope for humanity. Stylistically inspired by Kraftwerk’s seminal track “Radioactivity”, includes samples from the Voyager Golden Record, recordings from outer space, and a message of peace in morse code.

i.e. = "Inspiration Emulation"... I'm learning from and getting inspired by artists and songs I love. This piece was inspired by Kraftwerk's "Radioactivity". I emulated some of the sounds and arrangement in my own work. p.s. My track is missing the simplicity and sonic perfection of "Radioactivity" - something I need to keep working on!
