This song comes from a demo when Mr. Bungle was pretty much an X-rated funk / dance band and ruled the universe in Sonoma County, the Bay Area, and Southern California without a record deal. 

My former band Chomphard with Tom Gaffey and Lance Brown had the great fortune to support them and Deli Creeps during the 'OU818' period at the The Phoenix Theater.

I sent the band my demo - they were looking for a new drummer in BAM magazine - and one of the members called me while attending UC Davis to come audition. 

I chickened out.

Got their 'Goddammit I Love America!!!' demo at The Record Vault in San Francisco (RIP) after seeing them dominate as the first of four on a bill with with fIREHOSE, dear friends Victims Family and Doughboys at the Palace Theater (now the Mystic). Must be a 3rd generation copy the store made me.
