The current boundaries are imposed by an industry that was created with the sole purpose of selling massive amounts of copies of an artist's work. Categorisation facilitates sales because it identifies or creates markets that can cater to a supply and demand model. It also imposes limits. Our goal is not to sell records and it is definitely not to enforce restraints. Our objective is to provide a safe, creative and completely anonymous platform for artists who want to share their work through a new paradigm. Selling records is a positive side-effect which ensures that the artist's music reaches the right ears.

Originally hailing from the Dutch eastern border, Utrecht-based producer Tala Drum Corps (real name Tijmen Lohmeijer) provides BAKK six tracks where his love for futurism and nostalgia collides. Coming from an adolescence of modern dance, Lohmeijer continually seeks a sense of bodily movement in his work - an elementary scenic approach that stems from an urge to bring imagination into life. Ditching outer ends where club tracks are often approached too seriously or ironic, this mini-album takes on another route that feels mature while simultaneously oozing a child-like joy. 

On Parade, the listener strolls along a shimmering motley landscape.

Slowly slipping away in a crystal vortex via its vocal, ’Clear Fall’ shows the art of juxtaposition when its panning drums propel the track straight against its own gravity. Setting the tone for exploration, ’Refraction-S’ provide calm pace with its crisp gridlocked snares and melodic sonar pulses. Continuing a path of hypnotism, the album takes a deep plunge with ‘Lake Technium’ - whose rolling acid line hints to the essence of rave without obvious tendencies. On the flip side, ‘Frog Marches’ recalls emotions strongly akin to the LP opener, but walking a darker introvert thread. Spacious drum programming flutters around a haunting ambience on ’Sp00n’ - showcasing Lohmeijer’s ability to create intricate ear-worm structures. The producer offers an energetic closure with the break-inspired club tool ‘Modernity (Poisoned)’. 

All in all, Parade makes up a multifaceted play that appreciates sonic aesthetics of the recent past but re-appropriates those in a daring and dreamy context.

Unknown collective Lost Trax return for a third EP on Delsin following two previous outings since 2017. Also releasing on the likes of Tabernacle and Frustrated Funk, they deal in emotional music that comes direct from the heart and heads straight for the dance floor.

'De Laye' is a quick and slick, deep and dubby techno cut with plenty of room for the twisted bassline and busy, bristling drums. 'Surface Treated' trips you out with sci-fi sounds and electro influences that recall classic Detroit as they surge into the future and 'Interstate' then gets perfectly dreamy and far sighted, with thoughtful chords and keys drifting up top about tight, punchy drums. This most serene and sublime EP ends on 'Still', a crisp electro cut with icy keys and plenty of machine made drum funk. It makes for a most stylish and timeless collection overall.

Interdimensional Transmissions’ techno sublabel Eye Teeth relaunches with a fresh series of releases featuring the solo and related works of Israel Vines — a fresh KGIV 12", an EP of remixes, and his debut LP. The triptych begins with the stellar “Regulatory Capture EP" — a collaborative effort from Vines and Chicago artist Kit Geary presenting their third release under the KGIV guise. Here we find them exploring new ways to own and expand the current style of techno and breakbeat fusion in the title track “Regulatory Capture”, while the chthonic "Morgan" twists distorted vocals and synth lines over a bass heavy foundation built to put the sound systems through their paces. Vernacular Records is proud to announce the launch of a new series called “Vernacular Fields”. In this series, label worked with an Armenian photographer, Sarkis Torossian, who did the visuals. His work is not only about developing analogue photos of landscapes, there is whole transforming process of the image afterwards.
After developing, he digitalises the picture and modifies it to realise, by hand, monochromic prints on a drawing paper. 
The outcome is a unique visual on every print, worthy of a numerical paint. “Vernacular Fields” is about the work of a physical object on small series. The EP with a visual by Sarkis in a 10” format, a USB stick with the release and a digital file of the artwork, all inserted in a 10” vinyl cover. This will be limited to 20 editions, the EP will also be available in digital format.
In terms of music, the format is a 4 titles EP including a featuring with another Vernacular Records resident. This first series is opened by our resident Ashyl called “Polar Lights”. 4 tracks of “Epic Breakbeat”, thought as a journey around his universe, it includes a feat. With label resident Clery.
