We Need No Help Honey is a song by June. 

June is an alternative popband from The Netherlands. Growing up near Antwerp, the band listened to Belgian radio station Studio Brussel. Their influences vary from the seventies glamrock of T-Rex and David Bowie to contemporate indie artists like Tame Impala and Unknown Mortal Orchestra.

June has been making memorable eclectic music since 2012. They’ve won multiple contests (Red Bull Bedroom Jam) and have played support shows for Dutch acts Go Back To The Zoo and Tim Akkerman. The band has played over 40 shows in the Netherlands in all kinds of bars and stages (Hedon Zwolle, Mezz Breda, ‘t Beest Goes).
June is a DIY band. They record and mix their music and produce their own artwork and videos. In 2016 the band will focus on new music and a new live show. February saw the release of single ‘We Need No Help Honey’. A first testimony of June’s new sound.

June is Joep de Bruijn (vocals, guitar), Bart van Bergen (drums), Bas Adriaansen (keys) and Tim Hereijgers (bass).

June is a dutch indie/pop band who’ve been rigorously writing new songs since January 2011. Their rich music is filled with layers of harmony and rolling rhythm along with carefully arranged strings, mellotrons and farfisas.

June is currently occupying their studio and keeping themselves busy writing and recording. A laborious, tiresome process. It’s delightful.
