In 1996, we had a one-off night in Steve Bastarache's studio. I want to remember that this studio was on Crown Street and that there used to be a biker tattoo parlour next door. I'm sure about the tattoo parlour but the studio might have been SB's other studio on Prince William. The studio might have had carpet on the wall for sound insulation and, again, I think that this was partially the inspiration for the lyrics of this song. 

It was a lucky and fun day. It only happened once. It was me, Mike Long, Clinton Charlton, and Chuck Teed. Mike and I were consistently in bands together. Having Clinton to play drums and Chuck on bass was a treat. This song came together quickly, effortlessly. It's a dirty ditty that Mike and I tried to play at other times with other bands but we could never capture it the same way that Clinton and Chuck did on this recording.
