Gecko Deejay fue una idea que, como otras en su momento, era un intento por sacar algo y ya. Desde la secundaria fui fan de la electrónica, cuando tuve el software más pinche y genial del mundo (el Virtual DJ) me volví loco haciendo experimentos. No estuve ni cerca de lo que hace un productor musical pero sí de lo que hace un DJ, armé unas versiones muy cagadas que aún me gustan bastante. Sin querer le terminé dedicando más tiempo a editar las rolas que a mi carrera, veía en ellas desplegarse ideas que casi podía tocar, el concepto de cada uno de los compilados habla más de un mensaje que necesitaba gritar que de los tracks en sí mismos, además me había obsesionado por una razón que aún hoy no tengo clara con que los "álbumes" iniciaran con la 'J'. "Jump" fue el primero, "Just Dizzy" el segundo, "Juice and Tequila" el tercero, el último rompió muchas cosas, aún dentro de mi. "Diving the sky" lo edité bajo el influjo de un enamoramiento que no iba a ninguna parte y de algunas sustancias curiosas, refleja un estado casi autista, refleja soledad, es para bailar sólo y ebrio, es muy íntimo. Y pues nada, lo comparto, en aquél entonces lo llegaron a escuchar y descargar ¡casi 10 personas!, no ambiciono demasiado esta vez, pero igual, sería lindo que lo escucharan, dejo el soundcloud y los links de Drive para descargar. Hagan lo que les venga en gana, lo que los haga felices y ya : )
