The summer season kicks off an exciting collection of releases from the 'Nie Wieder Schlafen' family. The perfect start to the hottest time of the year is delivered by a great friend and talented artist, Daniël Van Der Zwaag.

With a different and unique perspective of atmospheric driven productions, Daniel is able to create two blissful tracks, which enter a smooth and dreamy state of tension. 

Main title track "Reïncar" opens up gently with a full range of atmospherics and slowly introduces a very nice set of percussions, that help thrive the endless spaces of this wide and open story.

Remixes by Bengal and Nagelbrett, cover-art designed by Giulia Gallizzi and mastered by Robert Trifunović.

Sometimes you have these travel weeks where you keep on flying and it really felt that I spent more time on planes and airports than I spent time in the countries where I was. I went from a very nice intimate setting in Denver to a Finnish Sauna in Helsinki, to my first gig ever (finally) in Cairo, Egypt and ended that week in London at the Madison. I met many new people and also had encounters with people who I did not expect to see at all. Overall another wonderful week in my life. 2018 was a very special year with many highlights. I want to thank all of you who listen to my music over and over again and also make it to shows I am playing all over the world. I love days in the studio creating these new songs, edits and remixes but I feel most alive when I am able to feel the energy in a club, rooftop or pool party and share the happy energy where we can all connect together and fuel our hearts and souls. Merry Christmas to all of you. I hope you will be able to spend these days with your beloved ones. Focus, be loving and kind and with a simple smile on our face we can make this world a better place. Hailing from Copenhagen Denmark, Disfunctional Disco has been a key player in the Copenhagen house scene for many years now, both as a DJ, playing all venues in Copenhagen, and around the world, alongside many of the top names in the scene, but also as one half of Kulturshot, who has brought many legendary parties to Copenhagen, Geneva and Paris. Narwal shows the groovy side of these Dutch masters of melodies. Clear percussion elements and synth-hits are mixed nicely with that catchy long-stretched synth melody. With almost 30 years of releasing records under his belt, Dino Lenny has naturally built an incredible back catalogue of productions, remixes and collaborations. 

He’s worked with some of the biggest names in the business, yet his own productiaons retain a distinct, personal style that is all his own. 

With Camouflaged, Lenny drops polished, groovy dance music that will light up many floors this year. 

The original version rides a solid motorik beat, allowing for moody piano elements and a haunting vocal to take the track to another level. 

Lenny’s sense for drama and space is preserved on the Black and White mix, but with a straighter house groove aimed firmly at the late night dancers. 

Hafendisko regular Brynjolfur also adds his own interpretation of Camouflaged - a driving electronic workout with a filthy, mutating bassline and dramatic pads.

Ucha's remix is a sensitive and melodic interpretation of the original and comes out as a beauty of an Afro House track. Softly implementing the synth lines and piano elements from the original, the remix is kicking it off with variouse percussive elements to establish a wonderful groove. Introducing the vocal on top of the track with underlying bassline and synth progressions the song advances with drive and gets you in the mood for dancing. 

A mesmerizing break with a great build up and tension lets you just drift away. A perfect track to open or close your melodic Afro House set.
