At the forefront is Los Angeles-based DJ/producer Taylor Freels, aka Urulu. The still fairly young talent specializes in a nostalgic sound that reminds of East-coast icons like Masters at Work and Kerri Chandler, while staying true to the computer-driven aesthetic of the present.

Four years after our first spin at Ilford Cherry Tree Farm when we were little more than 50 people celebrating Matt's birthday, Eddy and I were back with the privilege to close the Secret Valley 2024 Festival with a two-hour set. 

Seeing Matty, Mel, Caleb and Alex vision flourish and morph into a sell-out 500-person festival has been a sight to behold. We can't thank you enough for having the belief and vision to pull off such an incredible event. It's a very special thing to assemble such an amazing team of creative visionaries, can-do-builders, inspirational selectors, performers and musicians.
