German maestro DJ T. is back on Get Physical with a fantastic new single that once again shows off his well informed, club-ready house style. 

This red hot new tune comes hot on the heels of the reissue of 'Dis' in January 2020. While that was one of T's classic cuts from 2009, this new one shows he still very much has his finger on the pulse more than 20 years after first starting out. The Get Physical co-founder is a real dance music icon given his credentials include founding Groove
Mag, running cult club Monza and turning out a steady stream of constantly evolving albums and EPs.

'Trans Orient Express' is named as a nod to the Kraftwerk classic and nails down a similarly motorik groove for seven spellbinding minutes. The icy chords that light up the groove are retro-future beauties that will get hands in the air, while the cosmic pads add a real sense of scale.

Truly hypnotic and designed to lock floors into the moment, this is another standout musical journey from one of dance music's most enduring talents.

Stockholm’s NEAT are back in the Exploited house with a generous four-track EP of electronic delights, once again demonstrating their sophisticated, atmospheric styles.
EP title track ‘It Is U’ echoes the deepest of classic progressive house with its plaintive feel, building through bobbing arpeggios and crystalline chimes while a chugging Italo disco-esque groove pushes it forward. Big sweeps and minor chords punctuate in the background while the percussion keeps evolving.
‘Nouvell De Romantica’ features spacey vocals from Miss Trance Late and is a gently tripped-out workout that revolves around rubbery bass delays, ticking hi-hats and distorted acid bubbles. Far-off pads filter subtly beneath huge swathes of reverb, panning across the stereo field as the Latinx vocal samples gently massage your mind. Let’s call it ‘lazy acid’.
Speaking of which, ‘Acid Arouse’ picks up the next with skippy beats and a stomping bass groove whose acidic characteristics are gradually intensified. Sprightly synth delays and sweeps fill out the surrounding space, while breathy vocals from Swedish singer-songwriter Kristian Antilla add another dreamy touch. Rippling, dreamy synth plucks top this tasty acid cake off.
‘WAAAAW!’ makes for a brooding finale, with a more techno-led focus. Discordant arpeggios meld with glassy pulses and weird vocal effects to create a psychedelic soundscape whose parts are deftly brought in and out of focus in continuous fashion to give this track a living, breathing pulse.

Osunlade’s Yoruba Soul mix of HIGH TOWER by James Curd is typically classy, stripping things back down to a soulful lilt with shimmering synth arps and tumbling bongos decking out a succinct, warm, beautiful arrangement.
Enduro Disco’s LUV ME MORE balances tumbling percussive elements with a sexy bass throb and a bouncing, delicate synth line to beautiful effect.
Original Panoramabar resident, Robert Johnson and Permanent Vacation recording artist Masssimilano Pagliara provides a masterful rework of STREET VIOLENCE by swedish artist NEAT, cooking up a flurry of melodic beauty.
French dance music royalty Yuksek amps up the bass funk on his remix of MODERN DANCE by O.N.O, slides in some gentle acid tones and generally pumps the whole thing up. 
GOOD TIMES ROLL by dutch duo T.U.R.F. builds a foundation of chunky beats around some sweet jazz-funk vibes, with dashes of sax and clavinet interpersing the piledriver bassline.
IT IS U by NEAT echoes the deepest of classic progressive house with its plaintive feel, building through bobbing arpeggios and crystalline chimes while a chugging Italo disco-esque groove pushes it forward.   
TRY A LITTLE HARDER by Enduro Disco rocks a spacey disco groove where descending, detuned bass notes tumble over delayed string hits and hypnotic motifs.
GET READY by Phonk D teases with warped piano before unleashing a loose funk b-line and dubby vocal snippets.
DANCING IN HONG KONG by Romain FX provides a madcap end to the EP, a cute little ‘80s electro-funk jam where jaunty keys, organ bass and a little city pop vibe rub up against each other.
All in all this is a great eclectic dance compilation by one of the top deephouse labels out there. Too bad you could not enjoy the music in the club.
