Francis Mercier y su alias underground, Emvafaya, están a la vanguardia de la escena Afro House en Nueva York, Nico de Andrea es uno de los DJs de más rápido crecimiento en Francia en la actualidad, y Nitefreak está en la cima como el DJ más destacado de Zimbabwe. 

Este disco muestra la similitud en las culturas musicales de diferentes rincones del mundo: Nueva York, Francia, la República del Congo y Zimbabwe, todos los cuales, además del mundo, ven que Afro House crece rápidamente como un género de música house superior. .

Hendrix wrote The Wind Cries Mary after a fiery argument with his girlfriend, Mary, who (believe it or not) struck him with a frying pan. Out of that chaos came a song soaked in sorrow, longing, and poetic beauty:

 "Somewhere a Queen is weeping, somewhere a King has no wife..."
I approached this remix with the same raw emotion and sonic storytelling that Hendrix poured into the original.
