'Yannick was already a noticeable person at school, looking for something undefined. A person always preferred a path against the current and far away from normality.

Not restrained or bound by conventions, Yannick's visions and impressions are visibly transferred into his music. He is creating their personal journey to reach an undefined destination, without a lack of impetus. One of his biggest successes is a remix for the upcoming duo "Township Rebellion" or his own release on Oliver Schories’ label SOSO records. His very emotional, groovy and transcendent sound got its roots in the Deep- and Progressive House as well as in Techno and Disco Music.

He released also on Hive Audio, Moonbootique Records, Poesie Musik, Tommy Boy, Indiana Tones, RAWLS MUSIC, Audio Safari, Einmalig Music, Bermuda Deep.

But it is even capable of going beyond typical conventions and acoustically mimics the always changing face of the city. After some performances at small clubs in his home district Aarau in 2013, he managed to establish himself in the techno scene of Switzerland. Today he can travel the whole world with his music in his luggage and has played in the best clubs in cities like Dubai, Lisbon, Barcelona, Zurich, Berlin, Hamburg, Moscow, Lucerne and many more.'

Steyoyoke Black welcomes a new Brazilian artist, Vicius, to the burgeoning imprint with this dark and foreboding EP, “Reconnect”. Its powerful and heavy low end will have you imagining yourself in a  strobe-filled warehouse dancing until sunrise.

The release begins with the title track, “Reconnect”. The most powerful of the three, this track exemplifies dark melodic techno. From its heavy kick, to its driving sub bass, this track is a peak time stomper. Next, we have “The Message” and its rising leads and sorrowful pads. This piece has a subtlety to it that favors the emotional, where the clouds seem to part and good fortune is on the horizon, only to be immersed into the dark atmosphere once more. Lastly, “Reaching” returns the listener to the dance floor combining both melody in the form of a scaling horn lead and warehouse vibe by way of deep heavy kicks and bass stabs.

Vicius’ “Reconnect” EP will have you entranced and wanting more. From the driving basslines to the sorrowful and yearning ambiance, this release is a bold and powerful statement that will thrust you back to the clubs.

The original of 'Nu World' is a rousing single designed to sweep dancers off their feet. In Solomun's hands, it becomes one of his signature melodic masterpieces. The Diynamic label founder is one of dance music's most globally recognised stars. He has been immortalised in the legendary Grand Theft Auto video game, holds his own influential residency at Pacha in Ibiza and is on a near constant tour of the world's biggest clubs and festivals where he leads the house scene from the front. 

His seven minute rework of 'Nu World' is a typically emotive house track with yearning vocal samples immediately pulling you in. The fresh drums are underpinned by warm, rumbling bass, and the searching synth craft is expansive. When the classic piano chords come in mid-way through, hands will go skyward and the dance floor will be united as one. 

This is a remix that brings heartfelt joy and rousing house grooves.
