Arranged over the course of 3 years, “Punto” is Alessandro Cheli’s debut album, and our first release at Music Is Logic Is Geometry. It has been recorded and developed using different DAWs, analog synthesizers and experimental techniques, it consists of 7 tracks that range from slow, ethereal soundscapes that transport the listener to blissful states, to fast, hyperactive and deconstructed IDM compositions inspired from classical music. The album was created using diverse techniques such as procedural generation of melody, data-bending, and glitching of audio files, off-beat rhythms, lo-fi field recordings, and vintage analog synthesizers that blend together to create a psychedelic, exploratory sound. For us, music is based on logic and geometry, incorporating harmonies created by whole number ratios, Euclidean rhythms, and procedural melodies that transport the listener into otherworldly spaces. And so on, fabricating extravagant numerological correspondences which can be fashioned and adapted according to the wishes of the interpreter. The feelings this record aims to provoke are mixed: curiosity, the sensation of discovery, or the emotion of being permanently waiting for something unknown. Like in an Escher’s drawing, the listener can shift its perspective and hear different, contrasting perspectives in each track. The album artwork, a painting by Irene Volpi, particularly represents this property of superposition and contradiction: the viewer can see it as two persons blending into one, or a single person splitting in two, all merged by a central, provocative eye staring deep into the observer’s soul. The act of pain, instability, dividing and deconstructing one’s self, or the act of love, coexisting together in peace and unity.

"Fear of Noise" is Jogi's debut record and second release on Music is Logic is Geometry.
The EP is a small collection of four nervous and sentimental IDM tracks developed over
the course of two years. Each track has been produced using different sound design and
musical approaches. From the FM percussion and echo feedbacks of "The Delian Mode"
where we can hear the voice of Delia Derbyshire, who reminds us that electronic music
has a past (and that she played a big part in it), to the nervous breaks of "Brain Bugs,"
which the artist describes in this way: "Sometimes I lose control over my own thoughts
and the words just come out, like my brain wants to get rid of them." "Sameach" is the
Hebrew word for smile, based on polyrhythms and sentimental arpeggios. This track has
been produced during the COVID 19 pandemic using modular synthesizers. Finally,
"Lavender Town," inspired by the urban legend that surrounds the first launch of
"Pokemon" for Nintendo Game Boy, is a tribute to the original soundtrack composed by
Junichi Masuda. It is the result of a sound design experiment and was created entirely
using granular synthesis, sampling different parts of the original composition, giving us a
deconstructed version.

"Tomography of a Carnal Love" is a psychedelic work that explores darkness with a bitter tone, in an echoing infinite and silent environment. The album develops into an ascending climax, transitioning from calm vibrations to the intensity of ethereal rhythms, in a geometric sound arrangement. The record presents mystical and adoring landscapes, portraits of daily madness in the context of ordinariness. With an almost anxious tone for devotion to the Transcendental, "Tomography of a Carnal Love" is composed of three experimental downtempo tracks, a cumulative and magnetic crescendo towards sound explosions that repeat with fractal rhythms.

Generative performance made in Cecilia5 that was created for "Gelatina", an event that took place in Gada (Church located in Via dei Macci, Firenze). The music was intended to work as background during a vocal performance. One sample as input , pushed through a granulator filled of long modulations and an effect chain.

Carl OG is a sound artist, electronic music composer, and sound engineer from Rome, based now in Berlin. Since he moved to Berlin in 2020, constantly influenced by the eclecticism of the electronic music scene, he experimented a lot in between Ambient and Bass Music with a "dubby", industrial, and syncopated approach. During these years he went deep into experimentation with modular and digital synthesis, polyrhythms and atonalities. His latest EP "Quantum Acoustic", landing on planet MILIG, can be seen as the logbook of his polyrythmic expedition towards the sound quantum. Inspired by the releases of Príncipe records, DJ Nigga Fox, Adame, Ilian Tape, and XXIII records, he created an EP that connects various constellations in the Bass Music universe, experimenting in between Baile Funk, Kuduro, Jungle, Deep Dubstep, Dub Techno, and Neoperreo. The third track of the EP, Toda Noite Eu Danço, features the vocals of the Portoguese-Angolan and Berlin-based music producer Blade IV (a.k.a. Vanity & Ruins) and it can be seen as an ode to Kuduro and Baile Funk, a genre that to Carl represents the social ransom of the proletarian classes trough the electronic music production.
